Bra fitting help » quad boob with top gaping.

Issue resolved
Finding narrower wires, higher gore, sizing up in cup, a band size down have made a difference. CHP Fiolek is a better fit. No perfect but definitely more comfortable. Need even narrower wires still but headed in the right direction.
Original problem
Band is snug but not so that I can't stand it. The wire on riot side is irritating at times. Weird but it seems that my breast on the right seems to push the bra down after wearing for a while. But I don't think the band can go any tighter. I seem to fall to the center and get quad boob. The top of the cup gapes. The Gore does tack.
The wire/cup under my arms especially right side irritates my skin. I am short waisted.
My breast are soft and heavy.
The EM calculator puts me at a 75J.

helpfulI would go up a cup size or two, and possibly and band size (I know the bra's labelled a 75/34, but if you've measured it as stretching 31.2 and your ribcage is 31.5, there may be room to go up, and it looks like a tight band might be pulling the cup into your armpits a bit, taking away from the room you need in the centre of the cup and causing the upper gaping? Ewa's bands are tight, but also kind of inconsistent. Try this one with an extender and see what happens? I'm not saying go bigger enough to lose support, just try maybe a bit more room and see what it does to the cup fit. That you mention the band is being pushed down can also indicate that it's a bit tight, and a tacking gore will prevent this.
However I'd also try another style that isn't a deep plunge, since you're having so much trouble with the gore tacking, and it may not be entirely due to too small cups. I have a lot of projection and centre fullness and close set, heavy breasts, and contrary to what some might find, I find I do better with a slightly higher gore. A different style may also help with the upper gaping, which I find I get slightly in plunges basically no matter what, but not in half-cups.

The gore obviously tacks in the third pic. When I first saw the first photo I thought the trousers was a floating gore, maybe that's where it comes from.

:-) Thank you. Just bought a @CHP Fiolek to try. Hoping it will work.

I agree with this recommendation, it looks like you need something with a higher gore so that your breasts are not touching each other all along. Once they are repositioned in independent cups it will be more visible that one or two cups ups are needed.

I used an extender and it did help some with the wire and wing. Only one row of hooks was best. The weight of my breast still pushed the cup down. So I have to keep adjusting everything quite a bit. I can't get the band to stay as high as my inframmatory fold.
Wondering if maybe a little less projection on bottom would push things up some? Support a bit more? And maybe get my boobs out from under my arms?
Thanks for all your insight and advise.

helpfulIt looks like you need shorter side wires, like those made by Curvy Kate or Bravissimo (Bravisimmo might work better, especially their balconettes, and not their half cups).

Thanks. I tried the CK Smoothie. Definitely not enough projection on bottom. So I haven't really looked at CK any further. I will give both brands a better search.
-
If that's the case, then I'd pay more attention to Bravissimo balconettes.

I have been dreaming bra hunting I have looked at so may bras! LOL. I am stumped on which ones to try.

I can be more specific, the new Petit Beau, the Dotty Spot (gives a lovely retro shape that not everyone likes), Bloomsbury, Alana, Candy Bliss, Paradise Fizz, and perhaps the Boudoir Beau. I'd try out the Alana and the one with your favorite print.

Thanks so much! I will be checking those out tonight.

helpfulI think you're just not compatible with the plunge style. It looks like the HP/CHP half cup styles would be better for you, or maybe an S style.

I tried the @S Bambino today in a 70 JJ. Band was comfy. A very slight gap on the top of the cup. Strap placement maybe? But the fit was much better than anything I have tried so far. But cup still will not stay in the inframmatory fold. Wing was annoying to the point I couldn't keep it on long.
Hoping CHP Fiolek works when it arrives.

Not staying in the fold sounds like a band size issue. I would try sister sizing to a 65K

I have a @S Gazeta in 65KK. (Shed 11 lbs between ordering and receiving). It is a bit big in the cup. Band a bit tight. I may try it for a while with an extender around the house.
I am wondering if maybe my arms are not pushing the band down. The wing is so high under my arm and breast sits so high the wire gets pushed some. Short waisted. I doubt there is 5 inches between my inframmatory fold and the crease in my arm pit.
-
That's entirely possible. I'm short-waisted and high-breasted as well, and any wing 4.5 inches or higher starts to rub against my armpit after a while.

The goes tacks beautifully.
I am trying find a half cup to try. I will try an extender tomorrow.
I did get an @SM Malinka today in 70 J. It gapes at the top too.
I have been looking for narrow, projected, bras that are not plunges to try on here and braswap while I am finding what works for the girls. I am at a loss right now on what to try next.
