Issue resolved
I took a chance and am going to try this bra in a cup size up.
Original problem
Hi! First of all,I would like to say that I have altered the band on this bra down a little to fit my ribcage better, but the cups have always fit a bit small. The photo with my shirt on shows where it is cutting in more.
I don't think it's terrible, but would like some advice on whether or not I should size up in the cups? (Especially since ordering from EM is very expensive!) Will this bra work for now? Thanks in advance for your help/advice/opinion

helpfulHow long/often have you been wearing the bra? I ask because EM's padded models usually stretch out a bit with wear.

In that case, it will probably stretch out a bit and then the fit will be fine. I know of several people who buy their EM padded bras a little small for this very reason.

Thanks! I think most of the EMs I have had stretched to a degree in the cups, however this one is finished off with satin at the top edge, which has no elasticity whatsoever.

helpfulI think if I were the one wearing the bra, I'd want to size up at least one cup size.

Thank you :) I think so too since I can pretty much see it through the shirt and it's not flattering in that regard. Just impulsively bought the size up, fingers crossed that the cups aren't too big!

Only about 3 times so far since I've gotten it.
