Bra fitting help » Is the bra cups too small?

Issue resolved
I think it's a good fit and perhaps my breast shape is causing the slight push-up effect.
Original problem
I used to wear 32D and 34C so I have a hard time telling if this bra fits, because it´s such a step up from my old sizes. It´s nice and tight in the back, I think the band is tight for being a 30 band. But are the cups too small? I feel that they are almost giving me a push-up effect, and it's not a push up. I get slight quadboob if I put my arms behind my back. On the other hand, the straps are almost cutting in to my armpits and a bigger cup size would mean that the straps are even further apart, wouldn't it?

helpfulUrgh,those darn straps.haha.
How does it feel, other than the straps.Do the cups feel fairly comfortable? It's hard to tell from the photos,is the gore flat?It does seem like you could go up a cup size, but it depends on comfort and what sort of effect you want in a bra.I believe you are full on top? Many people who are full on top get a push up effect in a bra where cups are a little bit too small,or sometimes even if it's right.Updated on December 3, 2013 Flag this

helpfulFrom what I see this is the best size for you in this bra.
A cup up would create more problems then it would solve.
So, if the slight quad doesn't show through clothes, you're good to go.This applies provided you put the bra on properly, with a reasonable amount of scooping and swooping.

It shows a bit under a high neck tight top, but it looks good in a more low cut top. So I think it's a good fit, and certainly much better than my old bras. Thank you for your help!

Yeah I almost always fel that the straps are too far apart! Sorry the pics aren't the best but the gore lies flat and the cups are comfortable, they just cut in a teeny tiny bit. I don't know if I'm full on top, perhaps I am? I think my boobs are quite "tall", they go high up, almost to my collarbone. Thanks for your answer, I'm really learning a lot about bra fitting here :)
