gore does not tack. 33 rib measurement and bra seems to squish breasts down.

helpfulDefinitely too big a band and too small a cup. I think I'd go one band size down (34) and a couple cup sizes up.
Honestly, I'm not sure that bra is a great style for you, regardless of the wrong size. It seems to be doing some weird fitting things that I don't think even the proper size would fix.Updated on December 5, 2013 Flag this

helpfulBand is too big, cups are too small.Depending on how much breathing room you need and how squishy or not squishy your ribcage and back are,I think you need a 32 or 34 inch band.
I think you should try a 34H/34HH,but the sizes could be different depending on how big or small the brand or style runs, the measurements on here should be helpful.Updated on December 5, 2013 Flag this

helpfulI would try a narrow and deep bra in something 34F or larger (I'd estimate 34G-ish just based on how look size wise). It's difficult to tell because there's so much wrong with this bra. It's difficult to put a bra this badly fitting on correctly. It's really hard because this style of bra is designed to cover up a lot of flaws (that is to say, look best in the wrong size). You might need larger, though I think 34H is a bit excessive.

I just tried to upvote this suggestion, but it wasn't working, so I'm just commenting to say that I agree with the above suggestion.

helpfulI think you should try 34 band (UK sizing) and bigger cups. DDD is like British E, and as far as I can tell, you don't look like E. Besides this model looks like a fullcup and it doesn't cover enough for a fullcup, and the gore is far away from your sternum. You'd better measure and try various size calculators. I agree with Jillsas that 34G seems a reasonable starting point. Usually balconettes are good kind of bra to start, I guess you could also make use of half-cups, as you look full on top.

helpfulHi, I got your message and figured it would be simpler to correspond through the comments, so I can type and look at the fit issues. Overall I would say you need a larger cup and smaller band. This bra lacks structure and seaming, which would provide the best. You are similar to my shape. From what I can tell you're fuller on bottom, which is causing the empty space at the bottom. You also need narrower wires. If you get the chance can you put your measurements through http://www.sizemapp.com/en/ and http://www.butterflycollection.ca/bra-size-calculator/ . Also what is your price point? I can recommend bras that will likely suit your shape when we get a size range and price point. I hope this helps!
Sorry, I'm not quite sure how to view your photos.Updated on December 28, 2013 Flag this

Synchrolover thanks for the input! I have no idea how to describe my shape. I am going to vent a little frustration here as I, and many others, took the time and effort to take/post the pictures to the breast shape project and I don't think they are going to do anything with them. I mean they have 120 submissions now. Isnt that the purpose of doing it, is to provide opther people with an idea as far as our breast shapes so that others may compare and help us or someone else find the best fitting bra?

Did you input you measurements? I think that will be extremely beneficial, and from there I can, or others can recommend bras :) . You can ask @Ji about the breast shape project.

helpfulIt looks like even in the right size (cup size up, band size down) you would probably get orange in a glass effect, which a lot of times makes women think the bra is the wrong size because is wrinkles on the bottom and isn't filled out on top, but really it's probably just the wrong shape. Maybe means you're full on top? Also gives a very unflattering east/west look. Looks like you need something with lots of projection.

veggie thanks for the input, read my added comment to synchrolver's post above. It really frustrates me. I do not know how to describe the shape of my breasts. I have been in contact with butterfly collection in Canada and am waiting on a response from them in the next couple of days. I sent them pictures of me wearing various bras nad pics of my naked breasts hoping that will help. Just wish I knew where to view pics that others have submitted of their breasts for the breast shape project.

What Quixii said. That is the same bra is I was "expertly" fitted into as a 36DD, but it fits you a little better (relative term) since I was squished together and quad-boobing over the top. What I dn't like about Wacoal (for me) is that it holds me in place--but in place is down around my waist! I have soft, pendulous breasts and need them kept in a different place! So you might find Wacoal does the same for you. Also, Wacoal sizing seems to be all over the place.
One hint I haven't seen mentioned yet is to look for UK sizing, not US. I wear a 32I in US (maybe!) and a 32G in UK, usually. US sizing is generally inconsistent.
I also need a deep and narrow cup, and so far, Fantasie works best for me but is still a little too wide in the cup. Try the advanced search for cup width around 6 and depth 12.5 (closer to your perimeter size). If you are soft, you can go down a little more. If your breast tissue is firm, stick with 13ish.
Dontcha just love having an engineer hubbie? Mine is too and provides a different perspective to so many things!
