Issue resolved
This is most likely the right size, but the wrong shape. The strap placement doesn't work for me. Thanks to everyone for your help!
Original problem
I get gaping at the top of this bra, especially on the side toward the gore. It fits well everywhere else. Are the cups just too open and tall for me or does this mean it's too big?

helpfulI actually think it's the right size -- see what happens if you move the straps wider (which may make it unwearable). I get this sometimes where the straps are wide-set, causing the center of the cup near the gore to be somewhat distorted.

helpfulI agree that it's probably just not the right shape for you. It looks like it would fit someone who is full on top and has broad shoulders...Odd...

helpfulIt looks like either the wrong shape or too tight of a band and too big a cup size. If you put in an extender how does it feel and look?

I tried it with an extender and it's not any better. :(

But it doesn't feel too loose?

Yeah, a little bit.

How about the second hook as opposed to the last hook? What effect does it have on the cup?

I think you're right. It looks like moving the straps would help. Unfortunately they would be off my shoulders at that point.
