Bra fitting help » Only the top of the cups are too big?
Ewa Michalak » Chp Kurczak (280) » 65GG 30:10
Issue resolved
Suggested better styles & going down a cup or 2.
Original problem
Ewa seems to be the type of bras that I need but I'm lost on her sizing. This 65gg is not right but I'm afraid if I go down in the cup size, the cups will slip down & the wire will sit too low. I have tuns of immediate projection so I guess the PL, CH or S style should work (that's what I've heard on here & a bra that fits) but I need help on sizing. My breasts are very soft & sit a bit low (thanks to breast feeding) but lift right up in the right bra! My tissue actually slides around under the skin so my boobs kind of "flow" like water & they take the shape of however the cups mould. I prefer lined bras for that reason. Thanks ladies!

helpfulI think you need to try a smaller size. 1 or 2 cups sizes smaller. It looks like you fill out the width of this bra well, which would concern me as far as sizing down, but you did mention you have very malleable tissue and the measurements indicate this particular bra in on the narrow side, so it's worth a try. For immediate projection, I would AVOID the CH and S. I am very FOB and those cuts were terrible on me, but I have dense/firm-ish tissue so your results may vary. I'd suggest sticking to CHP, HP and PL for the most immediate projection.

helpfulI actually think a strap alteration might fix the whole thing for you. The band feels good, no? No other issues than the gaping of the cups? I have an illustration of how you can check if that's the issue or not. I'll have to show it to you later because I'm in a hurry to school right now and I don't have the link bookmarked on my phone.

helpfulI would go one cup-size down. I also have a lot of immediate projection and have found the CHP to be good and the CH to be perfect, but I have more even fullness than FOB, and my upper breast tissue is quite firm.
If you can get a hold of pads like the kind that come in some Ewa bras, I would try the cup with those and see what that does to the fit.
And be aware that going down in the cup may cause the band to feel tighter.

helpfulI agree the cup is either 1 or 2 (leaning towards 2) cup sizes too big for you. There's no reason the wires should sit too low in the right size, especially in Ewa Michalak. I think you have the right band size. That bra is beautiful and I hope it works out for you in a different size!
