Bra fitting help » Worth sizing up in the band? No larger cup available.
Cleo » Juna Balconnet Bra (6461) » 32H 32:11
Issue resolved
2/25: 34H came in the mail today. Overall not a bad fit. Not perfect, but pretty close. Band is a little lose, and there's slight armpit pokey-ness. No overspill (or super super slight, covered by the lace). A keeper
Sent off for this bra in the 34H, we'll see how it goes. Also trying the Satine and found another Thrill Me. Maybe one of those three will work
Original problem
My best (only) fitting bras are Cleo Meg 34G and Fauve Emmanuelle 32GG. I used to have a Curvy Kate Thrill Me and loved it, so I'm trying to replace it. Based on reviews and fit information I ordered this bra in a 32H. Obviously, the cup is too small, but by how much? The band looks much tighter in the pictures than it feels. I like a firm band, and I know they'll stretch. This doesn't come in a HH, would the 34H make enough of a difference in the cup? I sew, so altering the band down if it stretches too fast wouldn't be an issue. Should I exchange this one, or find a different bra? And if that's the case, any suggestions? I'm looking for something nude/white, attractive, and shaped/padded like this.

helpfulI'm not an expert, so I'm sure others will help more. If it was me I would sister size to the 34 H. Especially if you can return that one too.
I really like the way it looks on you with clothes.

I ordered mine from amazon too. I'm a 31.5" underbust and am wearing the 32H comfortably. I would say size up to a 34H.

helpfulI've found Juna bands very stretchy in the first place, and they also stretch out quickly, but band issues aside, to me the 32H looks at least two cup sizes too small on you, so I don't think ordering a 34H would be worth it.

Oh poo. Any suggestions for replacements?

Almost everything I can think of isn't plain nude/white and/or you are sized out of, unfortunately.
The Freya padded half-cups (the Lauren is the only plain white one I can think of) stop at G cup and are shallow like the Juna, so I don't think you'd have much luck there.
Ewa Michalak does a lot of padded half-cups, but I can't give any advice on those.
I'm hoping someone else will come along soon who has experience with GG+ cups and brands I haven't tried.

I'd like to try EM bras eventually but between figuring out sizing and the expense, I've been putting it off.

helpfulI would also say probably two cup sizes too small... If you were to shorten the straps properly (I think you've lengthened them here to avoid quadraboob) so that they would be as tight as they would if the cups fitted my guess is that you would have massive quadraboob.
Cleo Maddie Moulded Balconette T-shirt Bra (7201) has a similar shape but runs much tighter in the band. Might be worth a try.
Freya Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) goes up to a H-cup, but my guess is that that one would be too small for your too.
The half cups from Bravissimo will probably be too wide. :/
Ewa Michalak has half cups up to a 60K/65JJ/70J/75HH/etc. The CHP might be worth trying in a 70J (or sister size) but sadly it could well end up being too small in the cup for you too. :/
If you really want a half cup I would suggest to sister size in either the Maddie or Cleo Juna (6461) and then take the band in. :/ A 36H is probably your best bet. Remember that the cups will seem bigger than they really are when the band is too big, before you alter it.

The straps actually feel nice and snug, but you're right that they are loosened all the way.

helpfulI think the bra style isn't quite right for you.
I don't know how to figure out what styles will work for other people, but my beige bra is the Bravissimo Satine (AU15) , and I really like it. I'm sure it won't work on everyone, but it does go up to a J cup so it might be worth a try.

I'll look into that one. Thanks :)

I think I may try that. It was ordered from Amazon so free returns & shipping.
