Bra fitting help » Does this empty space matter? What else can I try that won't do that?

Issue resolved
I agree that the cups may be too small. I'm going to return this bra and go for a larger one.
Original problem
Out of all the bras I've tried, this one has the least empty space around the wires. I'm thinking I might need an extender until the band is broken in a bit. Do I need a bra with a wider gore? Narrower wires? Is this what it's supposed to do? I'm just starting out on my properly fitting bra journey and I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I'm looking for.

helpfulYour breast shape seems to be full on bottom, which could be why you're not filling the bottom entirely,I find that happens a lot with Cleo bras for me though I haven't tried the Lucy yet.I've noticed that space with a few other people who have tried it as well.If you've tried pulling the cup and it keeps doing that, then it's probably too shallow at the bottom for you.Now as to whether this matters,I think it's a matter of comfort. If it's not comfortable then you'd probably be better off looking at bras that work well for full on bottom breasts,I think the Lucy is supposed to be ok for FOB but of course it varies from person to person.

helpfulI think this happens because you need bigger cups. Right now I believe this might be happening: http://brasandbodyimage.com/2012/09/05/putting-your-bra-on-properly/
Either that or it's a shape incompatability, in which case you need narrower wires. But unless you've already tried it, I think that blog post is the way to go.
