Bra fitting help » Cups gap & gore top doesn't tack

Issue resolved
I moved the straps in, stitched the cups so no more gap & (greatest sin...) I machine dried it. Fits perfect now.
Original problem
The top of the cups gap & the gore doesn't tack at the top.
Do I need a smaller cup?

helpfulI'd suggest that cup style is not right for you. Do you find that leaning over causes you to spill out or need to adjust?
You appear to have bottom or center-full boobs which are soft. See how they "puddle" into the cup? I'd suggest a 3 or 4-part seamed cup (not a full cup!--you'll settle into the bottom just like you do in this one) with a lace upper section. Maybe (probably) side support.Updated on March 3, 2014 Flag this

I'm sorry. Hit it accidentally. Dang mobil phone.

I don't spill out as the cups are deep. I do agree that I puddle.

By spilling out I am talking about when you lean over. That's what happens to me in that style bra, which is why I need one with a lace panel on top that flexes so it keeps me in when I lean over or walk fast but doesn't leave a big empty space.

helpfulThis just looks like a bad shape for you (at least based on the photos--to speak confidently I'd want to know how the outside of the underwire sits on you, do you feel like the breasts fill the bottom of the cups, is there any "dead space" there inside the cups at the side of your torso, etc.)
Many "super uplift" styles with vertical seams like this have considerable cup height and if on top of it they have molded, padded, contoured cups they tend to be quite unforgiving of a breast shape that doesn't exactly match, especially if there is the added problem of your own breast spacing conflicting with the cup spacing. I'm not THAT full on bottom, but I do often find that bras in similar styles end up being "too much cup" in height even though it is the right size.
Now on the other hand if that is a bit of wrinkling I see on the side pic (?), if the cups feel generally roomy, and you find that there is a bit of extra space on the outside of the cups that is not filled by breast tissue who knows, maybe you could actually just be in an excessively large cup and need to size down. It doesn't look this way right now, but as your info chart above says your breasts are set lower on the torso and the straps on this bra are a bit short for you, they could be sort of falsifying the initial impression of the cup size--making it seem like it fits/cups because it's being pulled upwards, but in fact the cup could be a bit big.
Not sure if this helps... I hear EW is very responsive to customers with fit issues especially if you can send photos!

No extra space in the cup & I fill the bottom quite well. Thanks for your input

Yup in that case I vote cup is just a bit tall for you in this style.

helpfulDoes tightening the straps help with the gaping? I dont think your supposed to tighten them too fix a cup size , but I thought I would ask. I would suggest going down a cup size.
I dont know much though Im kinda new here.

It seems tightening the strap actually makes the gapping worse.
