Cleo » Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851) » 30E 30:6
Issue resolved
Fits well, could possibly try a 28 band.
Original problem
I'm not used to bras in this style. I don't know if this is the correct amount of coverage the bra is supposed to provide.

helpfulYes, you are definitely within the range of normal coverage here More importantly, how does it feel? Is there any pinching or tightness, or on the contrary lack of lift? Do you feel supported? Have you scooped and swooped very thoroughly to get all the breast tissue into the cups and get the underwires properly nestled in under the breast?
Coverage can actually vary tremendously depending on the wearer. Someone with "short boobs" i.e. breast tissue isn't spread over a lot of vertical space) might be very covered in a Cleo whereas someone with average or above average vertical spread of breast tissue might have more boob showing in the same bra.

Being aware that it's there is fine--if you are annoyingly aware though, that can be a sign that the bra isn't ideal for you. In some cases this is related to fit (need firmer band, etc.) but not always. For instance, I'm fussy about materials and scratchy mesh or thick, diggy elastics can annoy me to the point of distraction even if the bra is actually a good size for me. Needing to readjust after slouching is normal too although your bra should not injure or irritate you just because of the position you're in. Just go with what your body tells you--it's the best gauge of fit!

helpfulIt's so close! It looks really good on you. You might have more room in top of cups if you tried a 30F. Maybe the band wouldn't look like it's riding up in the back if you could try a 28FF. Other than those things it looks really good on you!

helpfulOther than the band riding up on your back a little bit, the fit in front is fantastic. It's super flattering.

It feels comfortable, but different to my moulded bras. It's definitely hugging my boobs more and I'm more aware I'm wearing a bra than usual but it could just be I need to break it in a bit. If I'm slouching when sitting for a long time, the underwires sometimes need fishing out the underside of my boobs.
