Bra fitting help » Cleo Juna cuts into back despite large band

Issue resolved
Bra was too large in the band and possibly too small in the cup. It's possible that the bra was returned and/or damaged. I've since returned it.
Original problem
I so wanted to love this bra. The band is simply too big. I couldn't get a good picture, but I could stretch this thing wayyyy out from my back. Despite this, the elastic STILL cuts into my back in a really unflattering way. I would consider keeping this (as I need a nude t-shirt bra desperately) and using rixi clips or something, but it really drags me down that the back fits like that. The cups, well, they are okay. The gore is a bit strange, as it lies flat yet still cuts into breast tissue. Not uncomfortable, just odd. The cups gap only slightly when I move, which is seen in one of the pictures. I get the tiniest quadboob on my left breast, but I couldn't size up because of the empty space in the right cup. It seems pretty close, shape-wise. What should I try next in the world of nude t-shirt bras?
Also, my apologies for the potato quality pics. It's the best I can do.

helpfulBesides the band that's too big, the cups look a little too small! The lace laying flat is indicating this. The lace on the Juna usually doesn't lay flat, if it does it's often hiding quadboob. Try folding it into the cups, pull the band really tight, and see if the cups still fit.
If not - order a bigger cup size too. Many people find the Juna runs half to one cup size small.Updated on April 4, 2014 Flag this

helpfulYou bought this new, and it stretches to 36 as in thirty SIX inches? Surely it has to have been mislabeled, or else it was a display model or returned by some unscrupulous person who stretched the crap out of it beforehand. No normal 32 should be this big. The wires may also have suffered some distortion explaining the odd issue with the gore.
Before you venture further I would complain to the retailer and have them send you another. You may yet get a decent fit with a bra in new condition!

Now that you mentioned it, I think this was a returned bra. It smells like body odor to me, but my man disagrees and says it smells like nothing. I figured it was just me imagining things. I got it from amazon. Tomorrow I plan in going to nordstrom, so maybe I can try one on again to double check.

Amazon once sent me a returned bra... a returned nursing bra, no less! It had obvious deodorant stains on the armpit :P I used their returns process (with ranty little note) and got a pristine new bra in record time.

Cups are too small because the lace on top is lying flat. In this bra you would size down in band to a 28. Because Juna bands run big and the cups run small. Size up in cups to a G cup or probably a GG cup.
