Freya » Gem Balcony Bra (1361) » 32FF 32:8
This is an unusually large 32FF; in fact, I would say it's more like a G cup in other brands. It's currently the best bra I own and one of the few (if not only) with underwires that follow my east-west shape.
Now for the issues.
**I'm still having problems with finding my breasts a bit squished in the bottom while there is space up top. (If you look closely, you can see this in the front view.) This may be related to the next issue.
**I think the breasts are sitting a bit awkwardly: they sag a bit, and the cup hangs over my underwire.
**The gore does not exactly tack. The very center touches my sternum, but the gore as a whole is folding inward.
**The inner seam concerns me a bit. It gives me the slightest bit of quadboob on my left breast, not enough to be particularly noticeable but enough that I couldn't go any smaller/tighter.

helpfulYes, you've had to go up a tad in volume to get enough depth, so the cup is a hair too big (and wide). That's why it's not super uplifting. It is still quite wearable though and I'm sure looks fine under clothes.

You can definitely find 6" with proper depth. Persevere :-)

helpfulThis is more a comment and not exactly a suggestion. I'm very new to this and not an expert by any means, but I did want to comment and say that it looks like the bra was made for you. It looks beautiful on you. If it isn't comfortable and supportive enough then of course you will want to correct that, but at least from the looks of the fit, I only wish I could find something that looked like it fit that great! The only thing that *looks* to my totally untrained eye that might be a tad uncomfortable is that the angle shot of what I think is probably your left breast looks like the underwire might be sitting on your breast tissue right there at the edge of your cleavage. Maybe it's just in the pic though because the straight on shot of the gore doesn't look like it's showing that.

helpfulHad a quick look at bras you've tried, did you try Lucy in a bigger band? Your nipples sitting above the seam may indicate that this even/FOT bra may not be quite the right shape and you may need slightly more FOB. Many other Freya plunge balconettes have a more FOB shape, Gem is one of the few that doesn't.

helpfulhonestly it looks like if the straps where tighter you'd be set. Also take a peek at the first commentator's solution here: http://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/11794/#adventure-comment-52667 I think if you took the straps in just a little so they where sitting more centered on the cup and tightened everything up this bra would fit just fine. Also have you tried bending the wires to get the gore to be the right shape?

I would like better support than that. I am thinking that ~6.0 is my sweet spot for cup width, provided that I can (as you said) get enough depth to go with it. Guess I'll just have to suck it up and visit the bra store. Thanks for your help.
