Bra fitting help » 32GG too large?; 32G definitely too small

Issue resolved
I returned this bra.
Original problem
This is extremely long, so bear with me. This is actually a fit request with three specimens, because it's a problem that I have with every bra of this type regardless of brand. This one, a 32G of the same bra, and a 32G Fantasie Nicola. This is also extremely long, so bear with me.
Both of the 32Gs make a nice rounded shape, but my left breast isn't close to fitting in the cup - this is more obvious on the Nicola, I think because the Jana is a little more splayed out. I tried to capture it, but the cup is low-cut enough that it's not as obvious as it is on the Nicola. The right breast fits in...okay.
The 32GG is either droopy or upside-down seven shaped - no rounded in-between. The photos here are as in-between as it gets, plus you can see how the top cuts into the tissue (though I'm not as concerned about that - this particular bra has a tight-ish band at the top that I'd normally steer clear of), the shape is bad, and the left isn't good either.
What sparked this fit request is this bra adventure: http://www.bratabase.com/profile/9mw/adventures/4030/, wherein I complain that every single bra ever of all time is either droopy or upside-down seven shaped, or too small.
Hopefully the photos for the other two will be visible shortly. They're here: http://www.bratabase.com/chest/dlh6v/ and here: http://www.bratabase.com/chest/dlh6q/.

helpfulWait so this is the GG? It doesn't look droopy. Do you have the straps tightened to the max?

I meant that you might be artificially creating uplift with the straps, thus concealing an unsupportive cup. Can you loosen the straps till they're JUST tight enough to stay on, and then see what it looks like?
A true "full profile" pic where the bottom of the band isn't cropped out, and where your arm isn't in the way, will give the best visual of the uplift you're getting.
If you're confusing roundness with uplift btw that could be part of your perception problem. Many bras will lift your bustline practically up to nostril level but will never become round--that's just not their shape.

I think in this case that the cup is otherwise not particularly supportive, yes. If I let the straps out more, the cups droop the point where they're pretty much sitting on my stomach.
I'll see if I can get a better pic tomorrow - I didn't even realize I'd left the band out. :(
I don't necessarily mean round to be uplift. I mean it more as opposed to the flattening. I can either get rounded and laying on my stomach or lifted and completely flat on top. I don't mind lightly pointy even. Just not weird slope on top. :/

OK yeah it sounds like you've been over-tightening the straps and this creates the illusion that it fits, but the cup is actually too large for you in some dimension or other. It might be too wide or too tall or something.

Okay, so that makes sense. So then what do I do if that's the case but the next size down is too small? Or is this where we get into some lines just not working for everyone? I just feel like there are lots of lines I have this problem with...it's can't be that there are just one or two out there that work. Right?
ETA: To be honest, no bra, my beloved Madison included, has supported well with loose/no straps. I know they should, but my boob is almost a foot long and so floppy I can fold it in half...there's only so much engineering can do. :/

Well the straps do provide that last 10-20% of support so it's normal that no bra will be supportive without the straps. However you should definitely be able to have the straps loose enough that they don't make much of an indent on your shoulders.
What makes a boob hard for a bra cup to support is not how floppy it is, it's how projected and heavy the breast is. So you would still have this problem even if you were naturally quite perky.

I suppose that's true - it's just a lot of weight sticking straight out to have to hold up. I'll continue to play around. It seems strange that it could be the case that several brands might just not work for a person, but ultimately I guess the reason doesn't matter. It is what it is!
-
Oh, believe me, it is possible... There are quite a few brands that don't work for me, and there were even more of them when I was carrying more weight and "nursing volume" so to speak. At one point NONE of the following brands worked for me:
Panache
Freya
Fantasie
Cleo
Curvy Kate
Affinitas
Natori
WacoalHaving lost a little bit of volume I can now SORT OF do Freya and Fantasie--well, some of their unlined models. All the others are still a total bust, no pun intended.

helpfulBasically, I want to try some Freyas and Cleos and avoid having this happen. I think all this time I've been thinking that because I'm quite soft and pendulous, I'm not full up top, but once I get things lifted up, I am, so I need something more open up top. Maybe? I hate trying to force a descriptor on myself, because there's no reason to box oneself in and get hung up on describing instead of just finding things that fit, but if I have a better idea of what to look for, that might help me narrow it down. The wires on this one seem fine, as well as the immediate depth. Just, I get the pillowing (and oozing out a bit as I move) on the left, but I can't tighten the straps any more or the shape goes to hell. Which says to me that I need to look for things that are good for FOT? Or start taking in gores to shift the cups into being more open?

This is the GG, yeah. I don't have the straps tightened the whole way - from this point on, tightening makes the top flatter and flatter. So, how I have them in this shot, they're kind of down and off to the sides, which makes both breasts want to escape out the middle a little. If I tighten the straps to hike them up a bit to where I'd prefer them, I get the flattening. I just can't figure out what to tweak - it's not a bad fit, right? I might also be that I just have an unrealistic expectation of what should be happening. In both cases, the 32G makes a great rounded, uplifted look with quadboobing. But then the GG isn't nearly as uplifting. But I think technically fits. I mean, all the boob is in there and there's no extra space.
