Bra fitting help » Is the cup too wide or...?
Freya » Marvel Side Panel Bra (1501) » 34DD 34:5
Issue resolved
Will try in 34D when I get a chance.
Original problem
The side support area doesn't lie flat. It doesn't feel or look too wide to me. Otherwise, I like the shape and it's comfortable.
I've noticed that I get the wrinkling on the lower inner quadrants because my breasts are splayed and empty-ish there.
Would going down a cup help with these two issues? You can see how a 32F looks for comparison. I didn't add the 34E pix since the fit's pretty much like the 32F.

helpfulI couldn't swear to it, but the photos and measurements alike do make me think you could just go down a cup. It's been a while since I tried on a Marvel but I seem to recall the fabric is a fairly robust weave, that does not wrinkle as much and it's therefore a bit difficult to tell visually when the cup is too big for you. Nevertheless, the fact you seem to have a bit of extra room at the top, the outside AND the bottom of the cups suggests to me that it is indeed just too large.

helpfulI think this is just a bra that doesn't work with your breast shape, because the wires don't follow your crease. Ultimately if you like it, that's what matters.

I'm going to exchange it for a smaller cup and see how it fits as I do like it. Thanks!

Yeah, the fabric is quite robust. I really like it so I'll exchange it for a 34DD and see how that one fits. Thanks, wendybien!
