Issue resolved
Returning it. Life's too short for poky wires.
Original problem
Gore doesn't tack, wire/wing is a bit too tall, but it's reasonably comfy.

helpfulHmm, I'm no expert but I will try!
With your ribcage measurements the 34 band should be good and it doesn't appear to be riding up so think that looks ok.
Re the cups, I think they are a tad too small, so pushing the gore away. I notice you have quite a large difference between your horizontal and laying measurement and so even though this bra is similar to your laying size, I wonder if you just need to go more average of the two - eg around a 35-36 cm cup depth? I seem to remember that this bra is recommended for wider shallower shapes ( but I am no expert) and I don't think you look particularly shallow and you say you have a narrow root so even in a bigger size it may not work.
In the ideal world I would try the 34HH in this for you, so you could assess the size vs shape thing more but I checked and they don't do one so I would return it as the wires are poking you and uncomfortable. If this is the closest you have come yet to a fit and you are desperate and have no other bras then I would try and bend the wires out and use it while I kept looking.

If you are in the uk, have you considered Bravissimo? They are generally quite low at the wing and the wires are more stable than Freya and Fantasie

I wish. I'm in US. Possibly once i get my real measurement needs nailed down I'll have a go at ordering from them.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I was poking around last night searching by measurements with lower wings and more depth. I seem to be in a sort of weird size range where search by measurements gives me lots of Freya bras but the wires don't seem to hold up so well.
