Bra fitting help » Quadra-boob; too full on top for this style or size up a cup?

Issue resolved
The cups are too small. I am going to try a cup size up.
Original problem
I just got the EM CH and it's super comfy and I love it already, but I'm getting some quadra-boob. It's not dramatic, but it's noticeable. I'm not sure if I picked too small of a cup size, or if the demi cup is just an awkward shape for me. Apparently I'm fuller on top than I thought! I feel like the cup needs to be taller or deeper or something (the width is fine).
I guess I'm just wondering if this is as close as I'll get in this style--in which case I might keep it anyway because it's so comfortable--or if I'll find a closer fit in a 65G or 70F. Or another cut?

helpfulI think you can probably try a cup up on this style. The only thing to be wary about is that a size up would have slightly wider set straps, which may or may not be a problem for you. Also personally I find that this CH cut (I have the Lilia, which is the same as the Onyks) is a bit more closed on the top edge. You might be able to get away with this size in CHP's since they are much more open generally.

helpfulLooks like a shape mismatch rather than a size issue. You can size up to see how that works out but bare in mind that the straps will get wider, so will the cups. The cups might also end up too deep (as is often the case in the style).

helpfulGoing by the measurements entered by users here on Bratabase, in a 65 band the cup depths only go up by 1/2 inch per size, and 65FF and G are both listed as just 5.5" wide, the same as this. I think an FF would be a very reasonable next step

Ooh, thanks for checking the measurements! And you're right, with EM, it's an FF next, not a G. That's a good catch too :)
