Bra fitting help » Slight wrinkling around the middle of the bra
Curvy Kate » Romance Balcony Bra (CK1501) » 34DD 34:5
Issue resolved
I bought this bra in a 32e, the band feels wonderful. I still have some wrinkles across the middle of this bra (where my nipples are), but when I posted a fit check it was recommended that I keep the 32e because it wasn't too large for me.
Original problem
Recently I bought this bra and I have noticed that with all four of the Curvy Kate Bras I bought (34dd romance, 34e romance, 34dd portia ribbon trim, and 34e portia ribbon trim) that I am having issues with wrinkling slightly in the middle of the bra.
I am assuming that this is occurring because I need to go down a cup size, at least. If I do that though, do you think that I will have quad boob if I purchased these bras in a 34d? I really think that I might have found the perfect bras for my breasts, and I just want to make sure that the sizing is perfect.
Thank you!

helpfulit looks as though the band is riding up. I would suggest trying a 32 band. It is completely possible with your measurements, although you may like an extender at first as it may feel unusually tight compared with what you are used to. You could put these bras on backwards to check how loose they feel. If you have the cups at the back, then the cup to boob volume ratio no longer interferes with your perception of the band.
I think that you should try to pull your tissue from your armpits into the cups; it doesn't look like there is a whole lot, but probably enough to fill the wrinkling in the cup.
Overall, i would recommend trying a 32E or 32DD if you want a smaller volume. Start with 32E though

helpfulHmm. Your horizontal perimeter is 9.0 and the cup depth is 10.0. Makes sense that there might be wrinkling?
I also think the band is fine for now, but might want to consider sizing down & wearing an extender until the bra is broken in. We have similar underbust measurements (I have more chub) and I find 32 in CK works for me best right now.

Oh, and if you're at the beginning of your bra journey, sizes will fluctuate after wearing proper bras. If I were you I'd do the 32E first, as cbear suggested.

I bought the CK bra in a 32e and it is just about a perfect fit! I really love the bra a lot. I find that with the four bras that I have in a 32 band, I don't have any major issues with the bra bands. Yes they're tighter than what I used to wear, but I can breathe, I can comfortably move around in them, and they don't hurt me. Yes they do leave marks because they're tight, but they don't hurt me. I wish that I would have purchased my previous bras in a 32 band. Do you know why bra sizes change, is it because of migrated tissue? If this is not the case, then how or why does this occur?
On an unrelated note, a few days ago I saw your dresses that your selling and I really liked them. If I had the money to purchase them and if my bust size was a few inches larger I'd totally buy your dresses ;) I like your fashion sense.

Ok I will definitely try Curvy Kate bras in a 32 e. I really like this bra, so I'd like to try a different size.
