Original problem
I recently purchased a Curvy Kate Dare Plunge bra, size UK 32GG. I think this bra is very pretty, and it fits very snugly around my rib cage. The bottom of the cup fits nicely as well. The center gore lies flat against my chest and is only a problem if I am bending forward. I do not feel that the straps are digging in or doing all the supporting. However, the outside upper edges near the top of my armpits digs into my skin, while the top lacy panel wrinkles and/or gaps depending on how I'm sitting or standing. Also, I feel like the underwire may go back too far, but I am not sure. I previously wore a 36C from Victoria's Secret, but I am trying to find my new, correct size. What adjustments should I make/styles should I try in order to find the perfect fit?

Yes, it looks 1 cup size too big for you. You have all the signs--your fit issues are attributable to the wires being too tall and wide, and the cup too deep. Try a 32G!

I think 1 cup down is where you should start, but unfortunately the straps being too wide may never be corrected for you.
I always have straps in my armpits. I would venture outside of the curvy kate world, potentially as well.

No matter what size is it, in Curvy Kate bras the part between the strap and the underwire that cuts into your body seems to be too short for the depth of the cup. It's the construction issue so softcup Curvy Kate bras might not fit your breast shape in any size. If you want CK anyway, try something like Entice in the same size.

Exactly what I was going to say. Looks too big on the basis of being too wide in the wires and the straps plus the wrinkling. Good luck!
