Issue resolved
I returned it and plan to order a 32HH. Not sure it wont be too small, though.
Original problem
Ok, my biggest issue with this bra is that people on this site told me the band runs really tight, and I should go up a band. Well, guess what - maybe they've reworked it with this new color, but the band is HUGE on me! Even on its tightest hook, this 34 is too big.
But the cups also seem a bit big. See the gapping on the top? Yet at the same time, I feel like my larger boob is not fully covered.
The shape and support are decent. This looks good enough under a shirt that I would probably keep it if the band fit. But of course it does not.
I'm getting so frustrated with paying for shipping both ways and not getting much out of it!!
But . . . if I WERE to re-order a 32 band . . . would you suggest a 32HH? Which would essentially be 1 cup down? Do these cups look too big or wrong shape or what?
The color, btw, is a deep dark pink. I was hoping it would be a tad more purple as I'm not a huge fan of pink, but I guess its the least loud color Marcie in a while, right?

helpfulYes the cups are clearly too big. I find the Marcie really tight but not enough to size up, more like a wear-an-extender deal.
Where did you order this from? Amazon sells Cleos, including the Marcie... you wouldn't spend on shipping and returns that way.

helpfulI have a Cleo Ellis that I get a similar look in - the bra looks OK as far as depth, but I have gapping at the top as you do here. I don't own a Marcie, but tried on a sister size in a store (34GG - I normally wear 32H in most brands) which should have theoretically been OK in the cup - but I had the same gapping on top and in-cup quadboobing on my larger side (in fact, your top-down picture pretty much looks exactly the same as the Marcie I tried did on me). In my case I know this is because my shape is quite full-on-bottom. Could it be the same thing for you?
If you were going to try another size, I would probably also go for the 32HH, as this would give you a firmer band and see what it looks like in a smaller cup. This would also confirm if it's a sizing problem, or if the shape of this bra is just wrong for you (when I tried a size down in the Ellis, I got the in-cup quad-boobing again similar to the Marcie).

Keighley, thanks for weighing in - this is my concern, the cups are not that big, the larger boob is not completely covered by the cup, it just has extra fabric on top. I'm about to exchange for a 32HH, but I'm so sure I'll have the same problem of my boobs not actually fitting in the bra. I read another review of this model saying that there was extra fabric on top but it was ok that way and I am seriously struggling between - order 32J and accept extra fabric or order 32HH and most likely have to return AGAIN because its so small
I had a very old store credit at Bare Necessities I'm using up, but I have to pay return shipping and they pay the shipping on the exchange item. So its kinda painful. Plus my credits keep getting splintered so now I have a 17 credit I cant imagine ever using.
I think this is the absolute worst part of being a weird size! mail order bras!
