helpfulThis looks a bit like an Orange in a Glass effect. The cups are too deep. You have to get a bra with smaller/shallower cups as you mention. Definitely going down one cup size at least, maybe two but I am not sure how that would affect the cup width.
Mostly it just looks like this molded cup shape is not good for you. Unless you need this molded bra style I'd just recommend not going with it.Updated on October 26, 2014 Flag this

helpfulPlunge bras like this NEVER work for me. (I also have broad shoulders and these style bras flatten me and seem to push my boobs into my armpits.) Honestly, I don't like racerbacks either. They tend to put too much strain/ stress on my neck and shoulder areas as the day goes on.
Maybe try a bra that doesn't plunge as much. Have you tried a leisure bra? I have a few to sleep in & they are really comfy. Light support, comfortable, more coverage. You will forget you're wearing it. I can't remember the name of the bra, but you can look up leisure bra on Ebay and they will be there. You order them by your band size and they are stretchy to conform to your shape. You can get a cotton or satiny type. They hook in the front or some are pull over your head styles. Only downfall, for me because I am short, it that the straps don't usually adjust over the shoulders.
