Bra fitting help » Definitely not working for me-another wrong shape, I believe

Issue resolved
Tried the 28d, which didn't help. Trying the marcie next!
Original problem
Another non-padded (I really just do not want another padded or foam-shaped, if possible. I want a more natural shape.). Obviously, this one doesn't fit. The gore is too wide (mostly at the bottom) and I think the wires are sitting a little too narrow at the underarm. The top leaves room for smuggling a puppy, even at the right height and swoopage. And there's odd wrinkling at the side of the cups, especially on my smaller side. The bottom (middle) of the cups seems a pretty good fit though and the shape is not crazy looking under a shirt. At least part of it works!
I don't feel like my boobs are very FOB at all. They seem more even but I could be wrong. I actually wonder if I need a 28d in the softer cups instead--in the foam cups I seem to need to go up to a 28E to avoid that crushing feeling.
Any commentary on projection, roots etc is appreciated!

helpfulSo one of two things is going on:
1. you need a bra for close together breasts
or
2. you need a smaller size.
since you said that you want a non-moulded bra, I recommend trying Freya and Ewa Michalak. Brands like Cleo and Curvy Kate work best for people with far set breasts, whereas brands like b.tempted make primarily moulded bras.

helpfulDid you try the Cleo Marcie (or any of its sister cuts) yet? If not, this is worth a try. The Marcie has a narrower gore and lower coverage and it usually works much better than the Lucy on shallow shapes.
/edit: Considering your underbust measurements, try at least a 30 band in the Marcie cuts! They run much tighter than the Lucy. This will also eliminate the problem of the straps digging into your armpits. I have similar measurements and I'm wearing a 32 in the Marcie (which probably is not an option for you, as it's not available in 32C yet, but you could try a 30 and use an extender for the first few weeks).

I have a Marcie in transit from Amazon. It is a 28 though.

Thanks! I thought I did have wide set breasts but the bras seem to be proving me wrong on all my misconceptions!
