Issue resolved
Giving up on the Andorra for now.
Original problem
Well, it feels like angels are supporting my bosom, honestly, but it might again be a wrong shape or size, since I got a bit lost and ordered the 28dd. 28 seems right. Not sure about the dd. According to the bra calculator I'm a 28d, though none of the few I've found fit me.
It seems a little pointy? And I still get some side wrinkle-age.(I did have some back and forth weight these past few years, so it could just be skin. Thought I have no underarm rumple when bra-less.)I'm trying to get the hang of the swoop and scoop and I think I am doing it right now. Otherwise, the band and gore are perfect.
Sorry the pics are awful-neither the Mr. or I can take a decent phone photo. Thanks for any help!

helpfulYou've taken good pics but in an unfortunate coincidence, the Bratabase logo is positioned RIGHT across your boobs in every single photo. This makes a more difficult to identify fit issues! I would say the size is quite good but this cup shape, while definitely wearable, may not be the absolute best you can find. It looks like your breast tissue distribution is relatively "tall" (continuing to a couple inches below the collarbone) which is fairly typical in your size range, but this bra is constructed to fit someone whose breasts are less tall. This is probably why it's pointy--it doesn't capture all the fullness of the breast and cuts back inward too low on your body.
The Andorra is quite popular with people with large, heavy breasts but I don't often see people under an F cup wearing it (at least on here). It's possible Panache's design in the smaller band/cup range just isn't terribly well-suited to the majority of people in that size range.

I'm not familiar with the plunge but take a look at reviews on it in your size range.
Basically what you want is a shape that is somewhat low-coverage on top. So depending on the angle, some plunges can be great. Half or demi cups are typically a good shape for tall breasts.
Padded halfcups (padded as in "made of foam" not "extra pads for more volume") are often quite open on top and I believe some brands make them in 28, or snug 30s. Unfortunately with your small back you are limited but there are a number of brands that are known to run very tight in the band.

To expand on what wendybien said above, some styles that fit into what she's talking about above that might suit you are the Cleo Maddie Moulded Balconette T-shirt Bra (7201) , Freya Deco Moulded Half Cup Bra (4232)](model:3911) and some of Freya 's padded halfcups, which are all the same cut, but are given a different name depending on which print they come in. Also, just to be clear, the Freya Deco Halfcup is a different cut from the regular Freya Deco, so if the Deco doesn't work for you, it's still worth trying the Deco halfcup.
EDIT: Also, for photographing in the future, if the bra is a dark color, try photographing in a room with a lighter colored wall, or against a door (assuming the door is painted white). Because both the wall and the bra are so dark, it's hard to see the outline of the shape you're getting in the bra.

helpfulIt is often said that Andorra gives a pointy shape when it is too small in the cup ... I'm not sure whether that is the case here or whether it simply is a shape issue -- many brands have grading issues towards the smaller end of the bra size spectrum and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case here. However, I would suggest trying this bra with an extender to see if that improves things. If I recall correctly, Andorra's wires are fairly flexible in the smaller sizes. It might be that too much tension is distorting the cup. Also, make sure you're not wearing the band too low in the back, especially if your torso is tapered (difficult to tell from the photos). A band that sits too low in the back can cause the cups to tilt towards the chest, effectively creating the impression of a cup edge that is too tight.

I adjusted the back to the right height and it does look WAY better. (posted a new side and front pic) I did try the extender and while it made the band all woogy and loose, the cups seemed to lay a little less 'flat' and pointy. What does that mean in bra-world sizing?
I'm not sure I have the projection for this bra but it is very nice and comfy.

helpfulIf you're especially searching for plunges you could try the Lepel Fiore Plunge Bra, the OnlyHer Plunge-cuts (not avaiable on Amazon), Cleo Neve, Masuqerade Tiffany or Calvin Klein push ups Level 1 and 2.

Hah, it is. Dratted logo! :) I kind of figured it was the shape. Any thoughts on the Andorra plunge or any other bras? I'm basically trying to order what I can from Amazon, due to the awesome returns policy, but they do have quite a few 28s on there. I've tried a few Betsy Johnsons and the 'Feathers' bra (both in 30 band), none of which looked or felt right.
Good to know about the 'tall' boobs thing. I'm starting to get the verbiage down. I imagine when PMS hits, this bra is just going to cut into me like crazy then.
