Issue resolved
Comexim is sending me different sizes to try in the basic black. Both Amelia and I suspect I need a custom bra with the 34H wires and 34HH depth.
Original problem
Hi, folks. Detailed issues are described in my review, but in short, my nipple is off target for the seam, creating points, dimples, and a little quadding.
My nipple is about an inch closer to the gore than it should be. The dent in the photo is the space between nipple and seam.
Before I send it back to Wellfitting, I'm looking for advice.
1) I could probably deal with a 36 band, though it might not have much longevity. Would a 36GG or 36 G re-center the seam?
2) Should I just try a 34GG? I absolutely CANNOT go even a millimeter narrower in the wires.
3) Is this shape just not going to work for me? Should i try a different Polish brand? The closest I ever got to this good a fit was a Ewa HP in a 32G, but the straps were trying to cut my arms off.
Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks!

helpfulI don't think it is a seam vs. nipple placement thing. I think your breast shape is taller and more centered on the torso than this design can accommodate.

helpful(Also why not email the Wellfitting folks--they are very helpful. Perhaps they can recommend a different cut that would work better for your shape.)

I will. It's just my first Comexim, and I wanted to know if anyone else understood the issue, or noticed something I didn't (like band distortion or something).

I'm not a Comexim veteran but I have observed that many of their designs have this shape that doesn't suit everyone. I'm not tall in shape, but my inner fullness alone would preclude this for instance.

helpfulBased on your photo you tagged as "compensating for stretchy straps" I can't imagine how your nipples can "be too close to the gore"? If I'm interpreting the photo correctly, we are looking down at your projection in the cup holding your left breast correct? Are you possibly mis-interpreting your natural nipple position on your breasts vs. where you "think" they should be inside the cup? Also, I have tried a very similar Comexim bra and the cup's shape is far too round for me as compared to my natural shape (I'm a bit tapered or lightly pointed) and there is just no way to fit any tapered or pointy shape into a "soccer ball" shape without spillage, quads or gaps! A very good fitter in Italy showed me how to truly get an accurate review of my actual breast shape and side-to-side differences. Stand up straight with your bra off and in front of well lit, full length mirror. Take note of what you "think" your shape is with your breasts hanging naturally while standing (ie, very round, round, lightly tapered, pointed, etc). Next, bend over at the waist so that all of your breast fullness hangs straight down, with your nipples pointing right at the floor. Now look in the mirror as you are bent over and even rotate a bit to get different perspectives on your fullness and shape, you will be amazed at the true shape of your suspended breasts and, the fact they may go soft or more round in the standing position doesn't mean that is the true shape for your bra cups to hold. Also, this same fitter measured me from the center of my sternum down to the tip of my nipples on both sides while bent over. My left breast is 12.3" long and the right is 11.8" long, quite a difference.

I appreciate the advice. To tell you the truth, though, I've looked at my breasts at more angles, in more positions, for far more time than I care to admit to over the past few years. :) They are round in every conceivable position, narrow and deep, darn close to balanced FOT/FOB, high-set, tall, and so close set as to border on symastia (even though they're natural). The problem is, they're also SQUISHY, so they ooze around in bras and pretend to be wide, or shallow, or FOB, or just plain ornery.
What I meant by the nipple placement issue is probably more relevant to seamed soft cups, but it bothered me that the wires were dead perfect and my nipples were so far off center. The effect is that my deepest point and the bra's deepest point don't line up.
After playing with this bra for a few more days (and getting no reply from Comexim), I think I might exchange for a cup size UP and take it from there.

helpfulI own a ridiculous number of Comexim bras, and trust me when I say that this particular model is not indicative of the way they fit as a whole. There is something very odd in the way this one model's cups are moulded that every other model I've tried in Comexim does not have. I strongly suggest sticking to this brand, just trying another model. I would suggest going up one cup size, and trying another model. Tropical Garden and Virginia are among my favorites from the Wellfitting site. Those bras are lined, but not molded, so their cups support your breast and conform to your natural shape, rather than fight it like this one does. While it is absolutely beautiful, it's a poor fit -- especially for Comexim, a brand which generally fits me like a glove. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice! I've been away from Bratabase for a bit, but in the meantime I've been in contact with Amelia. She's sending me some of the basic black bras to try for comparison. I don't know if they're molded or not, but I'd LOVE to get into some non-molded bras. I've been living in Deco He'll for like 3 years and I'm tired of smuggling foam grapefruit in my shirts. :)

I fear you may be right. Thanks!
