Issue resolved
Well, I tried my new bras on again this morning. I bent the wire and it did not dig in as much. I have to say, i just like this bra. The elastic cups mean by big and small boob both fit inside without gapping, and I really like the look. (Its the prettiest bra thats fit me in a decade, is that sad?)
I am a little worried that the band is too tight, but that will take care of itself over time, right? But I plan to keep this one.
thanks
Original problem
This bra fits very nicely - I love the round shape, dh agreed it looked right under a shirt AND loved the black lace!
There is one strange problem I dont understand. the wires come too low. Its like the curve of them should be flatter at the bottom but it comes down a little too sharp. The cups LOOK full (see bottom shot), but there is a little bit of material flat against my body, just above the wire. My finger is there, flat against my skin above the wire, in one shot.
I wouldnt mind except it HURTS .. . i am very short, so when you start going below those enormous breasts, there's just not that much room.
So, is there a name or explanation for this problem? Or a fix? Or am I just spoiled from years of wearing all-cotton bras (I'll post one of my old bras soon, if anyone is curious)

helpfulIt means that the bra cup is not quite deep enough for you down at the bottom of the cup. I am built the same--my boobs are very, very projected and in many bra cups I cannot squeeze all that bulk into the slimmer space at the bottom. I don't know of a fix unfortunately.

Yes, when you have heavier breasts that's a real problem. You could try going up 1 size in the cup especially since the center gore of the bra is not tacking here (sorry I missed that earlier--you REALLY want your gore to tack properly, if it doesn't it affects the stability of the whole bra and then there is really no point wearing an underwire!)

helpfulWell, I have this issue sometimes too. You can try going up in cup, but may want to find bras with more projection. I cant tell, but is the gore taking? If not then you defiantly want to go up in cup. I also hate panache because I fell like I need to bend the wires some because they are not human shaped at all.

I could live with it if the wire didnt dig in though
