Issue resolved
I ordered another bra that is shallow & wide.
Original problem
I have wide roots (and tall I think) and shallow breasts. I can wear this bra all day, but it doesn't fit quite right. It does not feel supportive at all (like I could fall out) and the band feels way too loose. The wires are *almost* wide enough, though I feel like because the band is so loose and stretchy my boobs do not stay in the side of the cups. I still feel like I have spillover in my armpits. I have it on the tightest hook in the picture and can still pull it about 6-7" away from my body. I'm not sure if the cups are TOO shallow as there are wrinkles at the bottom of the cup (even though the wires are in my fold). This is a 32DDD and the only size bigger in a 32 is a 32G (and it only goes to a 30DDD)- but I know I tried that and it felt too big in the cups at the time.
Here's a link to my 28GG Cleo Lucy fit check: http://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dllma/
I've tried so many bras, but I think this is the shallowest so far. Is this the right shape, but not the right size?

helpfulI think it's a good fit for your shape, but the loose band and lack of coverage mean that you're not getting as much support as you would probably like. You can alter the band and that should help a little bit. However, the ideal would be a bra with a similar cup shape, but not such an open plunge i.e. providing more coverage in the middle.

A wrinkle at the bottom is not a dealbreaker IMO. It happens a lot in foam cups because they're so shallow at the bottom.

Thanks for the info!

helpfulPart of your problem with this bra seems to be the same problem that I have with Natori bras. Compared to most of the "good" UK brands, the stretch in Natori's bands is...weird. Freya and Panache for example, the band sort of slowly stretches and maintains a firm amount of tension all the way along. I feel like Natori's bands are made of a weaker mesh, and it stretches really, really easily until it reaches the end and then it just doesn't stretch any more. Which means if you haven't reached the limit of the stretch, there's not much support, but if you do reach the limit of the stretch, then it's very constricting and uncomfortable. Drives me nuts.
I think the shape of the cups is pretty good for you, and the way this bra is constructed is very forgiving for upper fullness and tall roots. But the band is a deal-breaker for me, anyway. This won't help you right this minute, but within a few months, Freya is going to release a bra in this style called the Icon. It's got the same thin molded cup with mesh overlay, but since it isn't out yet, there's no word on depth or width of cups. I think it has the potential to be really good for tall roots or upper fullness. There's a photo of it here, about halfway down:

Thanks for the info! Do you think the wrinkle is acceptable? It doesn't show through clothes (I don't wear form fitting), though the lace on the cups does show. And I get some quad-boob going on when I'm actually in the cup properly.
I'm getting a Freya Marvel on Monday. I'm hoping it'll be similar in shape for me, but a better fit overall. Any other recommendations?

I definitely get a wrinkle at the bottom of most of my molded cup bras. In my case, I'm not sure it's caused by the bottom of the bra being too shallow, because my boobs are pretty darn shallow, but I don't know exactly what is causing it.
I personally just live with it, because most of the molded cups I've tried on do it. I've never found a bra that's 100% perfect in every way, and since it doesn't show under clothing, I'm not terribly bothered by it.

a lot of molded cups are just SO darn shallow at the base, honestly it's extremely rare to find a fully developed woman has a boob shaped in such a way that it could get into that sliver of space--even if you have a very shallow boob shape indeed. Many of these molded cups have a base that actually curves INWARD before it curves out to become a rounded cup.

Thanks for the explanation! I'm getting the Freya Marvel on Monday in my proper size. On paper it looks like a great bra for me, so I'm hopeful!

What's your opinion on the wrinkle at the bottom of the cup? I have Freya Marvel 30G coming that has a little more cup depth but not as much as the Freya Patsy/Lauren. I'm hoping that fits better.
