Issue resolved
conclusion: wires are slightly too narrow
Original problem
this is so close to perfect but there are some small issues with it. i am okay with said issues but i would like to get other opinions...
i quadboob slightly on my left side. should i try 28DD (but my right side would gape so much)? how much quad is too much?
do you all think that the gore is too wide for me? am i close-set? in order to get the gore to lie flat, i have to twist the bra off center towards my small side.
my inframammary folds are uneven due to asymmetrical boobs and scoliosis. the bra feels comfortable when the wires are right against me, but it looks crooked and weird. what do you all use for padding to alleviate these kinds of issues?
what other models do you all recommend i try?i'm feeling really lazy but if you need more photos i will happily take them

helpfulI see absolutely no quadboob, not even a slight indent, which picture is this on?
I don't think you are close set. Most unevenness causes that problem with the gore. I would not worry about it as long as it stays put once it's adjusted the way you need it to be. If it moves around, padding the small side could be a good idea.
The only place I see something a bit odd is on your sides, is the wire really containing all the side breast tissue or is it sitting on boob?

Well I have never purchased them independently of a bra--I've had them come with a bra I bought, and those were fairly thin, not enough to make me spill out of a cup that was previously too big.
I would just scout around on amazon and lingerie sites and see what they offer. You don't want the really large, thick super cleavage boosting kind--see if the product description offers a measurement for the thickness for instance.
If you're not ready to spring for something permanent, an easy and cheap way to experiment is to get a small package of nursing pads (the disposable ones, they're super cheap and very thin) and see precisely how much padding you want/need in that cup, and then look for a product that matches that.

knorfka , if the quadding is not blatantly obvious under a fitted tee-shirt, I wouldn't worry about it. :) It looks like a pretty good fit to me. And I don't think your boobs are close set!

helpfulI think the wires are too narrow for you that's why the breast can't fill all the cup, so the cup gapes. I'd go for a 28DD instead. If you don't like gapping bras you could try Cleo Marcie, Cleo Darcy, Lepel Fiore Plunge (runs tight) or the Freya Deco Softcup.

helpfulI think it fits you pretty good. From the front view it does seem like the straps are too wide. But from the angle and side shots the straps look good. When you take off your bra do you have marks on the sides of your breasts where the bra wire may have been sitting on breast tissue?
I agree with wendybien that the wires sitting on breast tissue might be the only issue. If you were wearing a 26" band the cups and straps might seem closer and the wires in the bra would be encasing all of your breast tissue if you went up from a D cup. I would try to match your horizontal and laying breast perimeters instead of getting stuck on just 1 size.
I would like to see you in something like this bra:
http://www.bratabase.com/browse/cleo/marcie-6831/28DD/
or: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/cleo/juna-6461/28E/ or this:
http://www.bratabase.com/browse/ewa-michalak/ch-onyx/60E/
A good size to start with would be 26E/28DD. And you can exchange if something is too small/big in the cups.Updated on December 7, 2014 Flag this

Nayanya the top cm of the wire is starting to cut in.
i've reviewed the juna in 28D and i had gaping at the top so i think the 28E would be too big. i will take a look at the others. thank you.

thank you so much wendybien <3 i would say that the only part of the bra that's cutting off my tissue is the top cm of the wire.
the quadboob is very slight in my inner left boob and it's hard to see in those photos.
how do i go about purchasing bra inserts online? what if the padding overcompensates and makes my smaller boob bigger?
