helpfulOut of curiosity, I looked for other pictures of this bra - i found one, in a bigger cup size, and while it did wrinkle on the bands, like yours, the cup is very smooth. http://www.bratabase.com/browse/bravissimo/primrose-bra-sb31/30H/pictures/
So I'm going for this being the wrong shape for you, I'm not great at this, but it looks like the volume of the bra is rounder and your shape is more spread out up and down?
but hopefully someone else will have a clearer idea

helpfulYeah I think ideally you need a cup shape that is taller, a hair opener, and not as deep at the apex. It's tough when your root is narrow, yet somewhat tall, because a lot of narrow cup designs assume that your root isn't very tall.
But if this is comfortable all day and looks fine under clothes, it may still be serviceable.

Yes, well not necessarily a smaller depth measurement (you can have different shaped cups with the exact same measurement) but... how can I put this... not so projected? Does that makes sense? See how the cup makes a sort of sharp in and out, almost with a point where they assume the nipple will be, whereas your natural breast shape is more of a gentle curve?

That does make sense.

helpfulTry taking the straps off your shoulder and see if the cups fit better. If they do it's because the straps are too wide set. At least that's how it fit me. It fits you a lot better than it fit me.
I like wearing my Cleo Lucy bras but sometimes I notice this same kind of wrinkling with them. I thought that is was because there wasn't enough projection on the bottom and sides. I don't really notice wrinkling like this in my bigger 28F Lucy bras or my Marcie Cleo bras....???
I was thinking another reason is maybe because the straps were too tight.
IDK. From the front photo shot it looks like the straps are a little wide for you. IDK
That's another thing I was thinking that you and I have tall roots.
Have you ever tried a Deco bra from Freya? And wendybien are Deco Freya bras good for tall roots?
I'm trying to figure this out too pumkinswife . LOLUpdated on December 6, 2014 Flag this

I have a 30DD - Freya » Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) and it doesn't fit right. But I wonder if one of the other Deco bras would work better?

I agree that it seems like the straps are at least contributing to the fit issue. I would try completely loosening the straps and see how things improve from there. In the first picture it looks like the strap is pulling the bra fabric from the bottom of the cup causing it to wrinkle and cut in a bit.

I think its a combination of wide straps vs narrow shoulders and the bra trying to turn my boobs into perfect circles LOL
So I'm thinking its a no go...

I'm a little confused what do you mean not as deep at the apex? Like not as deep of a cup?
