Issue resolved
Keeping this one for special occasions when a bit of cleavage is needed, but if I get another Basic, I'll be trying a 90H or a 90HH. Thanks!
Original problem
I started off with an actual 36G in this, which I couldn't even get on my body. I've upped it to a 40G/90G, and it's still a bit small.
I quad pretty noticeably when I scoop and swoop, the gore doesn't quite tack, and I really feel like the wire isn't enclosing the tissue on the outside.
It's the best cleavage I have in any bras I've bought since finding out about proper bra fitting though, so as ridiculous as it is, I'll probably keep it for that reason, but I just wanted to know if in the future I should try a 90GG or a 95G?
It does get uncomfortably tight if I have it on for too long, which is why I'd consider going up a band size too.

helpfulI'm 99% sure this only feels too tight because the cups are an inch or two too small on you. Some of the band length is being used currently to compensate for that tension. With cups one size up, in my opinion this band length will be fine (possibly with an extender for the first month or so, but that might not even be necessary).

helpfulPersonally I would go up to the 90H or 90HH (no GG in this brand) depending on the amount of quad and use an extender to stretch it out. Know that the Basic does run small in the cup so a 90G may fit ok in another style (with extender) if you try any other comexims.
Edit: spelling/punctuation

helpfulAlso keep in mind, going up in cup size often makes the band feel not as tight, because when it's too small in the cups the whole thing is trying to fit to stretch. You could get an extender, too,I found that when I tried the basic,it stretched out with wear. Usually tightens up a bit when you don't wear it for a few days, which is why they say to have enough bras to be able to rotate, makes them last longer.
