Issue resolved
I loosened up the straps, the cups and the band on this bra feel wonderful. This is a keeper!
Original problem
I received the Cleo Minnie bra (along with the Pour Moi St. Tropez Full Cup Bra and the Curvy Kate Gia). I think that this bra might be a perfect fit for me, but I am unsure, so I need a second opinion. The top of this bra fits well with my breast shape, and I am starting to think that I have full on bottom breasts.
What leaves me questioning the fit of this bra though are the slight wrinkles I get across the seams. I do know that my camera did not pick up the wrinkles, so I will try my best to explain the slight issues I am having with this bra. I am having wrinkles on the side (they tend happen when I raise my arms up). And I am wondering why the cups are lying flat along the top seams, but I am still seeing wrinkles near the nipple area (above and below the middle seam).
If you look at the pictures that show the side wrinkling you can see that the sides of my breasts are bulging out while the center of my breasts are being pushed near the center. I want to mention that in one of the pictures it looks the bra band is too large, but when I pulled it down it looks as if it fits. Is this shape compatible with my breasts or should I just steer far away from this bra?

helpfulThe cups look great to me. Minor wrinkling isn't uncommon, especially with mid-to-lower priced bras like Cleos. I'm wondering if you may be overtightening the straps though... may be why the band was riding up.

Well there's wrinkling and wrinkling. If it's happening because the cup is too big and half empty, of course that's bad. But tiny wrinkles sometimes just mean the fabric isn't very supple or the straps are too tight!

So like pic #5 of this bra... Those are bad wrinkles. It's clearly way too big.

Ok then Wendy, I loosened up the straps and the band looks much better. I know I am being beyond finicky. I remembered why I tightened up the straps so much, the top of the cups gaped slightly on my smaller breast and there are slight wrinkles at the bottom of the cups. I am thinking though that overall, the bottom of the bra might be deep enough for me but I don't know because there is empty space at the bottom of the cups. Should I go up or down a size maybe? I should add though that there is not a massive amount of empty space at the bottom of the cup.
Thanks!

helpfulI tried this bra recently. It's a gorgeous bra but I had some issues with it. I had issues with the seam that connects the red fabric at the bottom of the cups with the white fabric at the top of the cups. Either there was a wrinkle along most of the seam OR if I properly scooped and swooped, there were bumps. I guess in-cup quadboobing is what folks call it on here I wanted so desperately for it to work. But it was noticeable when I wore a shirt. I also had strange bulges at the place where the straps met the top of the cups. The reason I even ordered this bra is because I LOVE the Lily. Omg. Perfect bra. I was told by my bra lady that if the Lily works, then the Minnie is almost guaranteed to work. Panache even told me via Facebook that the fits are very similar! They might be but Minnie did not work for me. I sent the Minnie back and got a 2nd Lily. U can get it on amazon for $28 but only in the parrot print. Idec that I will have 2 of the same bra. Good luck!

Thanks Stinkhouse, I'm contemplating purchasing the Cleo Lily. I saw it on Amazon, but I don't remember seeing it for $28 in my size. I will be off to check again shortly! I know that brastop is having 12% off till Midnight tonight, and I think I will purchase it from there because I am also trying out some Polish bras as well. I wore the Minnie today (with my Mickey Mouse underwear lol), and it is extremely comfortable. I love how the band feels, and I like how the cups aren't full coverage, yet they provide enough coverage.

helpfulHiya! I have this same bra and the fit looks pretty much the same on you as it does on me. I get minor wrinkling as well on the sides--that same kind of line that shows up on your sixth picture. I think the shape is definitely compatible but I do agree with Wendybien about the straps. I know if I shorten mine too much, the band is like wayyy up too high. Hope that helps!

That does help Kerniss thanks! I do like this bra quite a bit. I am happy to know that I am not the only person who has the same fit issues with this bra. If you don't mind me asking, do you have projected breasts with a narrow? If so, what bra styles work well for you the most?
-
It's so cute! And I am narrow and projected as well as even/slightly FOT, also your sister size (30F)! I find that balconettes tend to work best. I need a very very close gore...wires almost touching, really. I also need bras that give space for inner fullness and top fullness. This might be slightly the opposite for you if you think you're FOB, but hey, bras are mysterious lol.
Bras that fit me are Cleo Marcie, Lily, and Minnie. I actually like the Marcie in 32E for some reason. Marcie's supposed to be a good go-to for FOT. Lily's good for even fullness. Minnie is somewhere between the two, I'd say--though probably more FOT friendly because of the upper section.
The Panache Jasmine and Andorra work best for me one cup size down (30E)..the Jasmine because it is SO projected and the Andorra because it's really a full cup style, so my proper size doesn't work. I'm not too fond of the Andorra though, honestly. The 30E isn't too great. :( As well as that, I have added some Avocado bras to my arsenal and I fit the Kyoto in 65F and the Arielle in 65G.
That's my experience as of now! That might help you. :)

Glad to know that we have almost the same breast shape Kerniss! Yep I do see that you are my sister size. I think I need bras that give me more space for inner fullness and less space for upper fullness. I remember someone on bratabase telling me that it looks like I have center fullness, which can make bra shopping a challenge for me at times because sometimes the cups will cut into the center of my breasts.
I really wanted to purchase the Cleo Marcie, but I tend to have trouble wearing bras where there is a large amount of fabric (as in full coverage bras) the tops of my breasts can't fill out the cups enough. So I am thinking that I am just going to have to buy balconnette bras and half cup bras for my regular day to day use. I do like the fit of Minnie, I am wondering if the bra is projected enough for me just because I am getting a small amount of wrinkling at the bottom of my cups and it is bothering me.
When I originally bought the Panache Floris (which is an extremely pretty bra by the way) I bought it in a 34dd and a 34e. The cups were just too large for me. So I went down a size and I bought a 32dd, the dd has the perfect amount of depth for me. My only concern is that the bra is such a perfect fit that if my breasts ever happen to grow I won't be able to fit into it anymore.
Oh, how does the Panache Jasmine work on your full on top breasts? I would love to try it, and I think that it might work on my breasts. I have realized that with Panache bras, I have to size down. I don't know though if I should size down in the Cleo Minnie. The Andorra is pretty, but I just don't think that it will work for me. I definitely think that someone with your breast type could fill out the top portions of the cup.
I have heard nice things about Avocado bras, they are very pretty and I think that it is cool that some of the bras are named after Japanese cities.
Believe it or not, your experience with bra fitting has helped me.
Thanks!

I feel you! Honestly I don't find that the Marcie is full coverage, but the upper section is somewhat open. I find this is helpful in holding the center-fullness as well as the upper fullness. I would steer you away from full coverage altogether, but you may have better luck than I do with them. I tend to get "cut in" at the tops with the full coverage bras and find that they don't lift my girls properly. You might be better able to fit them if you don't have that same upper fullness.
I would recommend trying a Lily out if it's possible. The construction is good for even shapes, but the top section curves in a little so it would probably fit you. And the Floris is very pretty!! :)
Overall, the Jasmine is great. The top section has a stretch lace that lets my upper fullness not be stuffed down, and I think this would work for you because it's very forgiving! I sized down in it but do not have enough experience with Panache to make a good judgment. I know the Jasmine is super projected, even for a projected girl like me, but I'd get it in a 32DD if I were you.
The Andorra cuts in a lot and gives me lots of quadding, but the 30F was too tall and wide. Wahhh. ;-;
But Cleo bras seem pretty good on size to me. I wouldn't size down in the cup at all (I only keep getting 32Es in Marcie because I tried on a 32E of it in Nordstrom and found it comfortable around my ribcage). The Minnie fits me better each time I wear it, I've noticed, so I think the wrinkling is just due to the fabric. Don't give up on the Cleos! They give a great, rounded shape and have some cute designs! :)
You're welcome Dawnss!

I have been looking at the Cleo Lily for a while and it is a very pretty bra, glad to know that is might work with my breasts.
Ok then I will be out on the lookout for the Jasmine as well, yeah I think that I will just need to size down in Panache (but at the same time, I might try buying their bras one cup size bigger because that way I can at least wear the bras during my PMS week).
Yeah I really like the look of the Andorra, but I am just going to stay away from it.
Ok then, so I will be sticking with my 32e's with the Cloe bras.
I have the Curvy Kate Romance bra and while the wires a little too wide for me the depth is almost spot on (the Panache floris is better for me overall though). I have read that the Curvy Kate Tease Collection has narrower wires, have you tried the Tease Me collection? I am considering purchasing a few of the bras.
Thanks.

I feel you with PMS week. It's no fun at all. And I have not tried the Curvy Kates! I always hear they work better for shallow busts, so I've shied away (but they are so gorgeous). I've also heard they are good for FOT sets, but I don't think I'm FOT enough to warrant getting one. Plus I'm spending too much on bras as it is hehe.
If you need any recommendations, it might help to check out my bra reviews! We're pretty similar in shape except for my slight FOT and your FOB-ness, but we look identical in the Minnie.

Some bloggers are saying that CK has revamped their bras so that they work for more projected breasts now. Their bras though are too full on the top for me so while I have one of their bras, I don't plan on purchasing another one.
Lol, I have spent quite a bit of money on bras as well. Ok then, I will look at your reviews and maybe I can find something that will work for me.

Ahh wendybien, I might have tightened them too tight. I will try on the bra again tomorrow and I will adjust the straps. Thanks!
I am glad to know that a small amount of wrinkling is ok. I have always been under the impression that wrinkling in bra cups is something that should be avoided.
