Original problem
So this is my first Curvy Kate, and I checked the measurements before buying to choose the right size. And it seems to sort of fit.
I have very uneven boobs, so I'll always have some quad on one size and some gapping on the other, i guess, except for stretchy cups (which i might just have to stick with)
So look at the pics here.
Arms up looks pretty good. Arms down looks kinda saggy. Straps off to show you how this bra gives NO support for me unless the straps are doing the supporting.
Side view shows that my larger boob looks kinda like a cube? And you might be able to see that the wires go past where my boobs end. Shirt view shows that the seams and lace show right through t-shirts, which i live in.
I bought a light color hoping to wear under light clothes, but the pink ribbon shows right through. Plus my husband dislikes the ribbon (he likes black lace and maybe not much else, sigh).
I really want to like this and I hate losing the shipping back ... but I dont see wearing this? I'm still wearing soft cups from decent exposure - which are more comfy than this and give about as much support and look smooth under t-shirts.
I cant decide if I should keep it or lose another $10 off shipping and try something else again?
The Panache envy is the one I like best so far, despite the fact that curvy kate here is actually more comfortable.

helpfulThis looks like the wrong shape for you--too wide and shallow, which is unfortunately a terribly common problem in your size range. If you do have other bras that are a better fit I'd send it back.

helpfulI agree with wendybien -too wide & shallow for you.
It looks to me as if your boobs are just hanging in the top part of the cups, not as if the cups are actually encasing them, if that makes sense? Almost a kind of orange in glass effect so your boobs don't get down into the bottom of the cup where the support would be?

My boobs are VERY soft - I'm 49 years old and spent a full 10 years nursing, and went several years before motherhood absolutely braless. So they definitely are filling the bottom, i am pretty sure, its just that the bigger boob is spilling over the top like over-risen dough.
Idk, this bra just feels like there is not much structure. I mean, the Envy i bought last (and havent done more than try on yet) had this amazing structure, it lifted up my boobs like nothing I think I've worn, and gave them a lovely round shape, and stretched enough to not gap or spill . . . i just have to see if I can keep from getting stabbed underneath by the wires. I'm hoping it'll stretch out and become comfy. And then I might just give up and get that in 3 colors.
Or . . I'm slightly tempted to try the panache jasmine. It seems to only be available in my size in a black/white animal print? Idk.
But yeah, I'm very soft, virtually no shape discernible Imo. Just kinda go where you stuff'em. Like when I tried the Fantasie Lois and my boobs totally went in to its bullet-shape .. . but in the Envy they are perfectly round. I like the round look. The last thing I want is for my boobs to draw attention to themselves by poking out even further than they have to.
But I see the wide/shallow thing. The extra wires on the side and bulging out on top, yeah . . soft, but cant go around to my side, its just not there.

I always think it fits if I just put it on and look in the mirror, but once I start taking detailed pictures and looking at them carefully, I can see just how wrong it is.
The one I have that I like pinches under the wires, and i havent worn it yet - but at least I didnt want to send it back just from the pictures. I needed to buy some soap to wash with - I'll wash it soon and try wearing it for a few hours and consider just getting that in beige.
thanks
