Bra fitting help » Not enough room at the bottom of cup? FOT. Shallow?

Issue resolved
tried a bigger size
Original problem
I think it's pretty clear that I need a bigger cup but I was wondering if this is really a good bra for my shape. I've been old by many that I ave shallow breasts but shallow bras are too shallow for me.I think I'm more of Full on top, tall root,Narrow root, and slightly close-set. In terms of how projected I am I have no idea. The center gore in this bra is very comfortable but the wires hurt me on the sides. Without scooping and swooping I can fill out the bottom of the cups and the top does not have quadboob. After scooping and swooping I get quadboob and I feel like there isn't enough room at the bottom of the cup for the bottom tissue.

helpfulCups are too small but I think Marcie really works for you. I am not convinced your root is particularly narrow--pretty average as far as I can tell. I would try this in a cup size up -- 30DD should do the trick. I think you really ought to try the 30DD range more regularly. I personally struggled with thinking I wasn't a 28E for a long time and it really set me back in my search
The issues you are describing about the wires poking and the bottom of the cup are very consistent with the bra being too small for you, and with the wires probably being too narrow. I don't see any particular issues filling the bottom of the cup here -- if the wires are below your inframammary fold, I would suspect it's because of too narrow wires, not too wide wires.

helpfulI had a feeling the D would fit you exactly like this. That's why I recommended DD in your previous fit post. I'm curious what made you decide to try this size first? This is a good shape for you though.
You need a larger cup size in this bra. Keep in mind Panache tends to run a cup size smaller than most other UK brand bras, even in these FOT-accommodating styles.
Your shape is not shallow. Whoever said that doesn't know too much about what smaller breasts look like. You have a decent amount of projection for only needing 30DD, that's why you struggle with shallow cups. Most of it is top fullness.
If you like the fit and style of unlined bras, you should give the Fantasie Susanna a try. Here's a comparison of Marcie in a DD and Susanna in a D. http://www.bratabase.com/compare/dhzde/ I've only ever tried these styles on from Fantasie as I'm sized out of their brand, but the Susanna is a great fit for those who have FOT or full-all-around breasts. Ignore the band measurement. I've never found it to run THAT large (I wear a 28 taken in), and the ones I've tried on have been in store where other customers get the chance to stretch them out for you. Their cups are pretty spot on. What I -could- wear in Fantasie I wear in Freya and CK, which is always 1 cup size up from Panache.

HLA, I think the OP looks shallow. Check out this blog post for reference: http://www.venusianglow.com/2013/03/examples-of-shallow-breasts-nsfw.html
Maybe she's not wide-root/shallow, but there are shallow shapes with narrow roots too.
"Shallow" basically means that your breast root is relatively large while your projection is relatively low. (Many small boobs have these features.)I agree that the bra looks to small and would like to see how a 30DD/32D would fit her!

helpfulI agree that this bra is too small that why the bottom of the cups feel like they don't have enough room. I don't think you are shallow either. The straps look too wide also. I always have that problem and I am down to wearing only one of my bras because I hate having bra straps in my armpits. I agree with the FOT, tall root and close set. I don't think you have a narrow root though. Average or medium root is what you look like to me.
Good luck!Updated on February 28, 2015 Flag this
I agree with teremaailma. The Cleo Marcie in 30DD would be great for you. Since you are "Full on top, tall root,Narrow root, and slightly close-set" you can also try the Freya Deco Plunge, and maybe the Curvy Kate Tease Me and Thrill Me (these two bras have narrower wires than other Curvy Kates and Cleos are wider than Freya plunges)
