Bra fitting help » Wires on ribs, flattens boobs, but gore tacks... what is wrong here??
Katie Price » Fuchsia Katie (ANA5051735508472) » 32G 32:9
Issue resolved
Won't fit me, bra given away.
Original problem
This bra is a conundrum. I already tried this model in 32E ( 32E - Katie Price » Fuchsia Katie (ANA5051735508472) ) and, as all Katie Price bras, I loved the colorway, the shape - but not the fit. I bought this one a bit mislead (the seller marked this bras an EU 70G, which is equivalent to UK 32F, when in fact it was an UK 32G) and when I unpacked it I was like 'woooooow, it's not gonna fit me, too big). I tried it on, and ... umph.
I fill the cups one I swoop and scoop. The straps are tiniest bit too short (I have that irritating metal part of the bra strap right on my shoulder), the wires rest on my ribs (why do they do that?), the gore tacks... and the cups flatten my boobs. I can't even start with how weird that bra is. I have had a chance to try a too small bra and a too big bra, but this one is like a mixture of both cases. The 32E was tiniest bit too small and I quadded, and it this one I suddenly feel like I am wearing a 32D minimizer.

helpfulYou are not wearing the bra high enough. This is because it's too shallow for you at the base of the cup. If you were to pull the bra all the way up to your inframammary fold it would likely bee too large in the cups.
It also looks like the wires are too wide for your breast tissue. This can happen for a number of reasons, but it looks like a)the bra is too tight on you causing wire distortion and b)the cups are too shallow on you both on the bottom and on the sides.I'd give up on trying to make this cut work. It seems that you are much more projected than this bra can accommodate.

Do you see in the first photo where the wire sits on your body and then where you breasts start? Is guess it's about 2" lower than it should be. Do you know what your imframammatory fold is? It's the place where you're breast tissue starts. And that's where your bra should sit.
I would try on any bra you have and pull it up until you can feel yourself pulling up your breasts a little. Adjust it until it sits there comfortably and then scoop and swoop and check the fit from there. I'm guessing this one will be clearly a bad for you once you do that stuff. -
I will do just that and post a pic then :)

helpfulIt's insanely wide, fairly shallow (especially at the center) and also appears to be built for someone whose boobs sit almost completely on the side of her body. Your boobs are normal width, fairly projected, and are located on the front of your body. This is why it isn't a very good fit

High enough? Wow... I always stretch the straps and extend them to a maximum, since otherwise they dig into my arms, even if the cup and the band fits. I guess that us why I don't wear it high enough.. But how can you tell? I mean, how high is high enough?
