Issue resolved
Bra definately wrong shape. Trying a different style next.
Original problem
Cups dig in under arms. Gore doesn't sit flat on sternum. Breasts don't fill out the cup in the centre but sit flush on top when standing straight. With any movement the cups gape. Band seems large as can easily fit whole hand under done up on the tightest hook. I know it doesn't fit but need advise on why and what brand/style to try next.

helpfulI would say first off u should definitely try a band size down (30 / 65 euro size). Seeing that your comfy ribcage measurement is only a little over 30 theres just no way you need a bra that stretches to 35 inches in the band. It's hard to make a suggestion cause i really cant see your shape under this thing ;~; the cups are way too tall for your frame definitely. maybe try a half-cup style like the ones freya makes or a balconette like the cleo lily?

helpfulIf you like to have that bra then try 1 smaller cup&band size.

helpfulI dont think that bra will fit you in any size, though, it sounds like you need more projection, if your breast is flush w the bra in the center but doesnt fill out the edges. I'd avoid molded bras at first, maybe, as they tend to be shallow?

Thanks dbmamaz I agree with you that this bra won't fit in any size. It's actually too projected though. Maybe I didn't explain it properly but the cups sit flush around the edges but I don't fill out the centre. I'm very early on in my search for A Bra That Fits so this one was a bit of an experiment. Was just using the fit issues as a starting point.

wow, just noticing that your laying perimeter is your largest - that seems odd to me? and vertical is smallest? anyways, you might, then, want to compare cup depth to your smallest perimeter? thats what works for me . . since this is obviously too much volume. and look for bras with at least that cup width but less volume. Some curvy kates run shallow, and many of the molded bras. drawing a blank right now.

Thanks FoxTaylor I'm not particularly wanting this bra so won't bother with a different size. It was more of an experiment at the beginning of my search for A Bra That Fits.
