Bra fitting help » Cup bottom too shallow and top/outsides too deep
Curvy Kate » Smoothie Moulded Bra (CK2401) » 32GG 32:10
Issue resolved
Going to try different bra styles
Original problem
Cups...
Bottoms of cups are shallow. Sides of cups come up too high for me. And I don't quite fill the sides or the tops in this size.
Band...
I'm not a fan of bands whose edges are much tighter than the rest of the band which creates extra rolls (on a squishy person like myself) and pressure points that dig in rather than distributing the weight across the band. Admittedly, I do have it on the tightest setting in these photos.
Photos...
Front view picture has shoulders back and the fit doesn't look too terrible, but even then I still feel I'm swimming in this cup size.
The main picture shows me leaning forward slightly and holding my shoulders forward slightly demonstrating the height of the cup under my arms and how much gaping becomes apparent.
The aerial view picture shows my gently pulling at the top corner until the inside of the cup sits flush against boob...really shows how much room is in there.
Other sizes...
I have a couple of this style in 32G that are currently my daily bras. I still have to reverse scoop (scooping outwards, rather than inwards) throughout the day, but they're wearable and currently the best I've got.
The point...
What I'm looking for is insight about my shape (hi ! i'm new here.) and insight about different cup shapes.

helpfulI think the bra is too wide for you. The reason you have to reverse scoop is that your breasts are heavy in the center, where the bra doesnt exepct you to have much tissue. While the volume seems ok, the shape is wrong. When you say you dont quite fill the sides of the cups, I think that means the cup goes too far past your breast, its too wide. And the cups are too wide-set or the gore is too low - which is why you spill out of the center.
I dont have any molded bras that fit me, so I dont know if there are any molded bras that are more narrow and deep than what you are wearing there. I keep recommending the Marcie as an example of a deep, narrow bra - but I know it doesnt work for everyone and its not the greatest quality, but its the comfiest bra I have

helpfulI agree with what dbmamaz said. I want to also add that most Curvy Kate bras have the habit of being shallow in the bottom and very projected at the top. It's great for people who are extremely FOT and broad roots but not so great for medium/narrow roots and non-FOT people.

helpfulI agree, this bra has cups that are too tall and wide for you. I also feel like the shallowness of the cup is making it ride way down on your torso. If you forcibly pull it up by the gore and make the wires sit right in the crease under your boobs for a second, does the gore still tack?
The only molded bra I know that's easy to find in the US, and has deep narrow cups, is a spacer foam bra called the Fantasie Rebecca. You can order it in lots of places so try a place that has free returns and exchanges!
