Bra fitting help » Wires possibly too narrow
Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) » 28DD 28:5
Issue resolved
Used an extender and the pressure stopped.
Original problem
The cups fit perfect. The band is snug, not too loose. I might have to wear an extender the first couple wears.
I'm just wondering if my wires are too short/narrow here. I know my breasts are super wide. But it fits miles better than any of my Cleo's!

helpfulYou could try Fauve Mia padded, Fauve Isobel Plunge, Fauve Merissa Halfcup, Lepel Fiore Plunge and JustPeachy Lace Padded Balconette Bra. They all have wider wires than Freya Pasty HC.

helpfulThe wires should encase your breast tissue, but dont need to do more than that. If you feel like the wire is on top of breast tissue, thats a problem, if you feel like your breast stays inside the wire, its fine. I think people have trouble with wires being too short if their breast spills out of it - but all I can see from here is loose skin around the armpit.

dbmamaz thanks!
I feel pressure from the wire, but I don't think it's breast tissue the pressure's on. Does this just mean I need an extender? -
I'm not expert, but it couldnt hurt to try. Is the wire pressing at the side or the bottom? And is it poking or squeezing? Some people find the top of the wire pokes them. For me, I often get pain below the cup where the wire rests on my ribcage, sometimes because the bra is slipping down

It's the side, right where it's sitting. Sometimes underneath my breasts. It does this with my Cleo's too. It's like a pressure, it isn't poking into my armpit or anything.

Try an extender. I suspect it's just a bit tight. In any case that pressure wouldn't be due to a too-short wire.

Thanks! I will grab a pack of extenders at work tomorrow!
