Bra fitting help » Slight wrinkling and maybe spillage?

Issue resolved
I've set Bratabase to notify me if any 38F's in this bra come up. Otherwise, I'm searching the listings for cup depths about an inch smaller than this, so we'll see how that goes
Original problem
Just got this one, and I'm planning to wear it for a full day tomorrow to get a better idea of it, but immediate problems I notice:
- Some slight wrinkling at the bottom despite the fact that I seem to fill the top?
- Not sure if it's armpit fat or breast tissue but just above the underwires on the outside, I've got some flesh hanging over.
- A gap between the strap and me. Not sure what that means or how to fix it, or even if it's significant.I'm also hoping that this being an unlined bra helps me to get even a vague idea of my breast shape, so any help on that front would also be appreciated.

helpfulIt's about one cup size too big. Here is how you can tell:
-the straps are too wide
-wrinkling at the side/strap gap (this is not always a sign of cup too big, but in this case it is)
-the wrinkling on the bottom in this case means you are not super well adjusted into the cups, if you pulled the cup up a little higher so that you could settle all the way into the bottom, you'd have gapping on the top
-the underwires are too wide at the side for a Cleo bra
-you are getting a slightly pointy and extremely projected shape, not round and high as this bra will do in the right size. All these should hopefully be fixed in a 38F!
As for the overhang at the side, unfortunately that's because Cleos aren't designed for plusher bodies, even though they come in sizes that fit us. They're designed for young girls who don't have extra flesh, so the wings are super short and the band is insubstantial. I love Cleos anyway, so this is something I just live with.

helpfulmelifish is quite right, in theory you'd want to size down to get the correct cup volume, gore height, width etc. and for more uplift. However, if you choose to do that, sizing down certainly won't help the lack of support and coverage on your sides--the wings will be even shorter and the band will still be thin and unsupportive. So, I'm not sure what I would do in your shoes. If you have been looking a long time and really struggled to find a decent fit then it would be reasonable to keep this, but if it's the beginning of your bra search, I'd say odds are you can do better in terms of finding a design that really suits and supports you.

helpfulI agree with both assessments so far by melifish and wendybien ... Cup volume overall too big, but sizing down will probably cause other problems.
I've ventured into the Cleo world recently due to short boob/cup height and frame width/strap placement issues that are helped by the proportions. I've found the cups in this and other Cleo cuts seem to want boobs that are more round, or even vertically vs. horizontally. It's not ideal for my boob heights, but they seem to be helping me solve other issues so it's working for me for now.
From what I can see of your shape, I think your boobs may have more width than height to them along with deeper projection, especially at the bottoms. This might be a shape mismatch as well as volume difference.
*edited for words and because my phone does not cooperate with bratabase.
