Issue resolved
Wrong bra for me.. Too big, and not the right shape.
Original problem
Puckering at the center, and the pockets on the sides near the wires. Is this too tall for me? Also I get a pointy shape from compression on the center sides. This is fitting better than the 38G I tried. What is causing the puckering? Too tall on the sides? Too wide?

helpfulThis is way too big! This is why you see wrinkling everywhere. You want a cup that is close in depth to your lying breast perimeter, which is marked above at 12.5." Of course, you also need to get a good match for your shape (a design that fits the width of your breasts at their base, as well as their height and depth) so some bras won't be a great fit at any size... but this one is really far too big in the cups.
For good feedback from other posters you may want to go over the guidelines on what kind of angles to use in your photos. In this case the bra is so big that it's pretty clear what's going on, but when you are wanting input on bras that are closer to fitting you correctly, you'll want to upload pictures that give a clearer view

Do you have photos of the smaller size (if you wrote a review or took photos?)
-
Did you use your hands to try to move your breast more in to the cup? If you are firm, tho, no - its not your shape
-
Here is the other bra. http://bra.pe/XMOm/
I did scoop into the cup, with a shake after to get things better distributed. With this one it really feels like the outside top of the cups along was pushing into my breasts, compressing the tissue. A little bit of gaping near the wire again.
I don't think I am firm.

I guess it sounds like a shape issue and maybe like you are wider than the bra is. It also looks like you've had a lot of trouble finding a bra that really fits?
-
I have. Just was curious about this to find out where to head next. I will try wider wires, would that lead to less side compression and more front compression (not against that front is squishier than sides...)?
-
I'm no expert, but it sounds like if you are getting squeezed at the sides that its not wide enough. Usually when the same cup is wider, its not as deep. But again, i'm just sort of new on this adventure
-
I really don't have a defined side root, so I have idea if I am wide or narrow. I do think I have a slightly shorter than average root and I am sorta pendulous (standing half my boob is under my root). And close set. That I do know.
-
Oh wow the 38G is also considerably too much volume. When you say the sides of the cup were cutting in with that size... do you remember if it was a case of wires obviously sitting on breast tissue (i.e. you could push on wire and it felt like it was cushioned by a lot of boob underneath) or were you simply observing that it was very uncomfortable and diggy on the sides?
-
I meant that the actual projected cup part was filled and pressed into boob, shaping it into a torpedo shape. I have a touch of cushioning on my sides that is just from being fat, placed lower so there's a depression in the underarm area if that makes sense My boobs kinda go straight out at the sides looking sorta like a straight sided, rounded in the middle W. And firm at the root, getting progressively softer towards the middle.
So are you saying I should try an F, since it is way too big? The gore didn't quite tack on the G... And came closer on the GG.
-
I guess I will try shallower and wider, next. Any suggestions?

You can actually fill the bottom of any bra cup that's too big, and the lack of surface tension (because the cup is too big) will then often make that torpedo shape.
I think wider cups could be a good bet, but I don't think you are particularly shallow. The fact that the 38G did not tack, but was still too tall for you, suggests to me that you have a short root but still need a good bit of projection. Panache (not Cleo) might be good, or possibly the Cleo Lucy although I'm not 100% confident on that... check cup width and reviews before making the leap.

I did try the Lucy (38g), and it was closest out of the Cleos with the fact that it didn't tack and was sitting on inside tissue that made me return it. I have prime and went with low balconettes (panache envy, jasmine and an elomi plunge) so hopefully that will work better. I like the free returns. :)
Thank you for your help.

Great! I really hope Panache turns out to be a good brand for you... they have such a lot of choices. Fingers crossed :-)
Thank you. I thought because it was tight around the actual breast projected part that it was fine to ask. I thought I was mainly having trouble with the height. The smaller size I tried did the same thing only it was tighter in the cup and pointier. I guess this particular bra won't work for me. Sorry for the pictures.
