Bra fitting help » Gore doesn't lie flat, smaller breast too small
Cleo » Maddie Moulded T-shirt Bra (7201) » 30G 30:9
Issue resolved
It doesn't seem like it fits, so I'll return it.
Original problem
Center gore doesn't lie flat (I can stick one finger under the top) and while the larger breast lies flat, there is gaping for the smaller one. I also purchased the 30FF in this bra, and for that one the gore did not lie flat either, and there was slight quadboob on the larger breast, and slight gaping on the smaller one.
How important is it that the gore lie flat, and should I prioritize a better fit for the smaller breast or the larger? I have a feeling that this bra just isn't the right shape for me, and I don't know whether or not I should just give up on it and try a different bra.
Also the band seems rather tight but I can fit two fingers under it.

helpfulWhenever there's a cup size discrepancy, always fit the larger breast. You can get a pad/insert to help fill in the smaller one, if you feel that it is more comfortable/looks better/you like it that way, but no amount of adjusting will get rid of the muffin-top on the larger one if you fit your bra cups to the smaller.
If you've made sure that your wire is sitting in your inframammary fold and the gore wires or underarm wires are poking outward/inward, you can bend them. This is a semipermanent change (puts a bit of a kink in the wire) so only do it if you intend to keep the bra.
Try the bra again: put it on and get the wires in your inframammary fold. Scoop and swoop, and adjust the wires again if necessary. Level out the band if it's gone migrating. Try holding the gore gently against your sternum with a couple of fingers--do you like the fit, feel, and appearance of the cups if you do this? Is the band firm, but not too tight? If it's more snug on the top or bottom, you can try hooking it one tighter on the looser edge to see if that adds comfort and stability.
I have no idea what your body shape is, because you haven't got much in the measurements for those sorts of things, but my gut reaction to each of your pictures is that I want to reach through my monitor and hike the cups/wires up a bit for you. The angle in the first picture especially makes me think that your breasts aren't settled into the bottom of the cup--or, the cup is too shallow on the bottom and you should skip this bra.
Try the above and see if it helps!

helpfulI agree definitely fit your larger breast. Another way to make sure that your bra is positioned high enough in your fold is to lay down and put the bra on while lying down. Sometimes it's easier to determine where it's supposed to be if you lay down and put it on. I lay down to adjust the center gore to lay flat sometimes that works for me too. Good luck!

helpfulIf your lying breast perimeter is 11" and the bra is 10" deep, there's a pretty good chance the cups just aren't big enough for you, at least in depth.
The Maddie is known to run extremely shallow in at least some size ranges. I don't see it as often in this range so I can't swear to this being true across the board, but it seems like this may be part of the problem. The 30G we see here is already a mismatch in that there is too much room in the cups up at the top, so I wouldn't really recommend sizing up either. I would try a different bra design altogether.

helpfulThis cup size is definitely too big for you, so give up on this bra if you don't feel secure in it/like it would fit you if it were smaller. I agree with your assessment it's just not for you.
