Comexim » Luna Plunge Bra (293) » 60H 28:8
Issue resolved
I think it'd be worth trying a size up in comexim plunges for science since I get more quadboob over the course of the day but this is definitely a workable fit and still quite comfortable.
Original problem
Just bought some comexim bras from another user and I am over the moon about them. After wearing one for a little bit and looking at pictures I'm wondering if I should maybe order a cupsize up in the future. The band is tight but feels comfortable so I feel like 60 is right but I seem to have some quadboob and the gore might by floating a little bit at the top where it's sitting on some tissue. My first instinct would just be to order a 60HH to try but I'd like to be more sure before placing an order since it'd be a hassle/more expense to return it.

helpfulFirst I just want to say what an incredibly beautiful bra this is! I'm definately putting this on my christmas wish lust!
I think it looks fine (perhaps not perfect, but still not wrong) on you, maybe it's the pictures, but it doesn't seem to quad that much, and since there's a little gap on one cup, I wouldn't risk enhancing this by going up a cup. But it might be different for different bras, as I assume you're not going to order the same bra again?Updated on November 18, 2014 Flag this

helpfulI'm glad you discovered Comexim! They're absolutely my favorite brand of bra.
Based on my own experience with the brand, and this model in particular, I'd say you should try another plunge model in the 60H before deciding to size up in the cup for all other Comexim bras. I've owned this bra both in my current size and when I was a cup size smaller, and they both fit like yours does on you. Because the wires and the material on this particular bra are extremely soft, it seems to have a tendency to tack very lightly and lead to a tiny bit of quadding. I have many other Comexim bras in my current size, in the same size as my Luna, and they fit great and tack perfectly with no quadding. I think it's just an issue with this model, rather than being in the wrong size for the brand. Hope this helps!

Good I know! I also have the butterfly in a 60H and it tacks better but there's more noticeable quadboob, even on my smaller side, when I'm not slouching. Definitely not a deal breaker amount but enough to wonder :) Comexim is definitely my new favorite brand, I didn't even realize how much I needed the narrowness and projection until I felt the difference.

helpfulI think you do need a little more room in the cup. Have you worn this bra any length of time or for semi-active daily stuff, like walking down the street, emptying dishwasher or whatever? It looks to me like it will shift around eventually because it is not containing enough of the breast tissue and not tacking... basically it is fitting by compression right now, as opposed to being truly anchored by the wires sitting nice and flush with the ribcage.

It's getting its test run today! We'lll see how it does when I move around more. I'm inclined to think you might be right so far.

Well after some hours and errands I think you're right. We've settled into quadboob even on the smaller side and the gore just isn't tacking completely. It's definitely not deal breaker small but I will probably try the 60HH to see if it's a better fit next time.

Good luck! Hopefully sizing up will help.

helpfulI feel like buying a cup size up will be too big, tbh.
I don't think that the quadboob at the gore is too important, since no one will see that anyways, with how most tops fitUpdated on November 18, 2014 Flag this
Probably not the same model. I only really notice the quad on the bigger side but the gore had me a little concerned. I also got the Butterfly plunge which has the same fit so this would be for their plunges in general. I feel like it's really very borderline which is why I was looking for opinions :)
