Panache » Fern Balconnet Bra (6291) » 34F 34:7
Issue resolved
I returned this bra and ordered a 36F as suggested, still wasn't the right fit, so I think I'm over this style of bra.
Original problem
The center gore feels like its pushing into my chest, the band is very firm, my left boob is getting cut into on the top and my right boob is somewhat okay. I'm not a fan of the pointy boobs. Where should I go from here?

helpfulThe Fern is not a good fit on you. Try a style that is more open on top, such as the Cleo Marcie or Panache Floris. Panache Jasmin might also work on you.
Sizewise, it doesn't look like you're too far off - I'd try the same cup size and perhaps also one cup size up. (Ordering multiple sizes is always a good idea to find the perfect fit.)
Also, you might consider sister sizing up in the band in unpadded Cleo/Panache bras, because most of them run super tight. A too tight band will make the center gore dig in painfully. Try a 36E and 36F.Updated on March 6, 2015 Flag this

helpfulThe bra is probably too small for you, and the band also probably too small. I would try this in one size up, so a 36F, that should fix the quad-boob.
I actually think you are a good candidate for the newer Curvy Kates, possibly the Dare and the Portia would work well for you.

Oh dear. This was EXACTLY the shape I got when I tried Curvy Kates a few years ago (The Lottie and Emily *shudder* I really, really tried to make them work. But sometimes, it's just about a clash of style and shape) though I've heard that they did a redesign so that they're a bit less downward-pointy. Has your experience with the newer styles been better?

helpfulI think you have a tall root, this bra is for a shorter root, and I think full on bottom. Some full on top bras such as marcie have been recommended, they might work, but I think you're shallow as you're wide and tall. I'd try wide wired half cups like Freya Patsy.

helpfulHow do 34in bands generally feel on you? If they feel fine in general, try 34FF cups. If you prefer 36in bands, try 36E or 36F. It also sounds like you need a bra with a longer wire length. I know that Elomi and Parfait bras tend to have longer, wider wires, so they may help you not fall out in the armpits. To avoid "pointy boob," have you tried lined/molded cups instead of the unlined kind?

Agreed. In Panache, Envy may also work like Jasmine. Marcie or Floris make a very round shape if you can fill out the top. For wide, splayed breasts, I found the Panache Dahlia can be comfortable and give a less pointy shape, too.
I also had good luck with Parfait by Affinitas' Celine, which is discontinued but they now have a wire bra with stretch lace on top that gave a more round shape.
