Issue resolved
Wrong shape
Original problem
Lonnng, shallow wires.
That is pretty much my issue.
It looks fine under a shirt, except making my boobs look smaller, it's comfortable, but I know it doesn't fit properly.
The depth I don't have much of an issue with.
Should I keep it?
If this style came with a bra that had more narrow, rounded wires and deep cups I'd be set, but I just don't know what to do with this. I love it, but is it ok to wear something with super wide cups/wires as long as they don't poke?
I feel kind of silly in itEdit:
Also forgot to mention that the straps are kind of wide set, which is odd for me.
Should I try a different size or is this style just unfortunately not right for me?

helpfulUgg, thats one of those that makes me want to say "Yo - no boobs behind me!" - that wire goes past the half-way depth of your body, if you know what I mean? Like almost to the back of your arm pit. No useful suggestions though, sorry. I have avoided brands that do that to me.

helpfulI think this was Chantelle's effort to create an unlined unpadded design that (unlike most of their cut and sew offerings) fits women with a shallow shape and more side fullness. However, I don't think there is any point keeping it if your shape is more average or more projected w/ center fullness. If you like Chantelle, the overwhelming majority of their unlined unpadded 3 part cups will be a much better fit--this one is a real outlier. Plus, as the bra fabric loses its new-bra stiffness, this will likely lose some support and become uncomfortable. There is really a lot of wrinkling under the boobs indicating the true volume of the cups is significantly larger than you (albeit in the wrong place).

wendybien Well that's good to know that some of their bras should work better then. Hopefully I can find a similar one with a different shape.
If it'll eventually be less supportive/comfortable, I might as well let it go :(
Thanks for your input :) -
Yeah sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I had the same experience with the same bra and though I talked myself into keeping it, it ended up totally killing my ribs!

dbmamaz Hahaha It does.
And that's ok, I'm coming to terms that I need to let it go.
The more I look at it, the more disappointed I am/ridiculous I feel.
I'll listen the next time a sales associate tells me something is the wrong shape for me :P I always want to make things work, but some things just don't lol.
Guess this one's getting listed. I'm sure it'd do someone else a whole lot better :)
