Bra fitting help » Cups dig into flesh around armpits

Issue resolved
Too small. Increase cup size.
Original problem
I have a lot of flesh around my armpit area due to pectoral muscles (it isn't actually a lot of fat - when I squeeze the area, it feels like muscle, tendon and skin) and since exercising more, I have found that the bra has not been fitting properly lately. As you can see, there is no quad boobing around the breast itself, but the top of the cups dig into my flesh around the armpit area. I am assuming it is just an ill fitting cup shape for my body and not actually too small for me?

helpfulWell, the cup depth does not match your lying down perimeter, and also this bra is designed to be fairly high-coverage for a strapless, containing basically all the height and width of the breast except at the cleavage area. It clearly is not achieving that on you so I think you need to look for a larger cup in a shape that is more suited to your own anatomy, shallow but taller and with more room at the sides.

helpfulAgreed, this is too small. You would probably get along very well with a Cleo Koko strapless in a 30D - it has a very tight band so I'd recommend staying in a 30 band. It has taller cups but a low gore to allow for V neck shirts.

helpfulWhat about trying a Curvy Kate Luxe? I second lcl0706 ‘s recommendation of the Cleo Koko. That's a good shout. I find that some CK's are small in the cup so you could try a 30D or even a 28D/DD seen as how CK bras run stretchily in the band.
