Bra fitting help » Slight quad boob. What do?
Masquerade » Antoinette Bandeau Bra (7151) » 32G 32:9
Issue resolved
I resigned myself to the inevitable and returned it.
Original problem
Basically I'm wondering if this is something I can rationalize away. The bra is comfortable and pretty, but doesn't go up any higher in the cup. I might be able to get away with a 34G, I guess... Band is very firm.
Of particular concern is the weird-shape photo. I feel like this bra should be giving me a rounder shape.
Also, any recommendations on similar bras that go up higher in the cup (I know the Curvy Kate "Showgirl" line is kind of like this?) would be greatly appreciated.

helpfulUnless your body measurements are out of date or the bra cup depth measurement is inaccurate, this isn't just "a little" too small, it is over 1.5" too small. That's not workable, IMO, you will be in agony before long. I know it's gorgeous, but there are a lot of beautiful bras out there that won't cause your boobs to climb out and hit you in the eye.

helpfulI've done the thing where a bra is a tiny bit too small and hung onto it anyway (I get the tiniest bit of quadboob on my fuller side in my Panache Sienna) but in my case I was very happy with the shape, the lift, and pretty much everything else about the bra.
Considering you mention that you're not quite happy with how your boobs look in it, I feel like you'd end up regretting keeping this bra (not to mention that situations where you can wear a bra become a bit limited if you have noticeable overspill - visibility through t-shirts and lack of support etc., and it may not be viable for you to buy something only to have it be usable as a bedroom bra). If it were me in your position, I'd probably give up on this one, but it's up to you to decide whether you like it enough despite the fit issues to keep it.
As for alternatives, the CK Showgirls are decent once you figure out your size, but that can be tricky to do. I recently picked up a Masquerade Rhea and really liked it - like the Antoinette, it's marketed as a bandeau bra but goes up to H. I've heard some say the band on it runs a little firm, but as someone who measures a 30 and prefers 32 bands, I haven't found it uncomfortable.

http://www.bratabase.com/browse/masquerade/rhea-6121/32GG/ ooh... this might actually work! Thank you. :D I thought I would have to give up on the whole line, just assumed they didn't go big enough...

helpfulThat bra is super pretty. You could try a 34G if you want. As for Curvy Kate, I'm assuming you wanna try a 32GG bra like the Entice, Fleurty, Tease Me, Thrill Me, and Tease.

Isn't it? Ugh, I'm so bummed it's just that tiny bit too small. I almost feel like going up an extra cup size would be overkill, but...

helpfulToo small not only just quad boobs also I can see little bit of side boobs plus it gives you east west look. I recommend CK tease me or show girl line but plus1 or 2 cups bigger.

I did a comparison with my favorite bra (the Empreinte), and am slightly disappointed that I'd need to go all the way up to HH in most of the CK showgirl line. Though I know Thrill Me is also sized differently depending on when it came out.

in half cup you will be fine upto 12 inches of cup depth but when it's lower then that it will be horrible.

Ooh, thank you.
