It fits ok, but not ideal.
Original problem
I think it fits ok, my biggest issue is the gore does not sit on my sternum, it pulls away. Is this because of poor fit or is this normal for bras without underwire?

The band is too big, but you're also correct that bras without underwires will not tack.

I'm going to guess poor fit because your band size is way too big. You should be wearing a 30 band in brands whose bands run tight (Cleo, Gossard, Tutti Rouge) and a 28 band in brands that run loose (Freya, Curvy Kate).

Yup. I agree. Of course, you will probably need bigger cup size if you get a smaller band.

this is normal for bras without underwires to fit.
bras that shape, do not have a gore to "tack".
as for size/shape issues, if it's comfortable that is all that matters, BUT, we have similar measurements and i wear a 32D, have you tried that size yet? or even a 30DD.
i think it's better to adjust when you go down sizes slowly.
and personally i don't like those type of bras because they always cut into my armpit tissue, that cup part does, if that makes sense.Updated on February 11, 2015 Flag this
