Bra fitting help » Straps too wide and not enough projection?

Issue resolved
Thanks! I'll look for bras with deeper cups!
Original problem
I think the straps are too wide. The sides of the cups cut into my armpits uncomfortably. Also the shape seems to be wrong, as I'm quadboobing on the right.

helpfulIf you don't want to give up on the bra, I suggest trying a band size up and cup size down (30FF). I had these same issues when I initially tried this in a 32H, but the issues were gone in a 34GG. It may not be your best fitting bra, but it'll likely work better in that size. If not, definitely aim for more projection and narrow wires with your next one!

helpfulIt's hard to achieve a projected shape from this style and many users have opted to go up 1-2 cup sizes for the right amount of volume. I think the wires look right on you, but the cup closes at the top and causes the quadboob on your right side. Going up a cup might help but the wires will get wider and higher, further irritating and chafing you under the arms. Have you tried any Freya half cup padded styles? Perhaps something like the Freya Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) or Freya Secret Garden Padded Half Cup Bra (1373).

Yes, I can see both of these issues in the pictures. Generally, wide wires are not a problem unless they bother you, but both strap problems and chafing wires indicate that the cup is just too wide for you.
The Charlotte runs small and shallow, but going up a cup size won't help, as it will increase the wire chafing and the strap problem.Simply try more projected styles. Your profile says that the Cleo Melissa fit you well; you could also try the Nyla or Erin from the current season. (Erin is not available in 28 bands, but it runs tight and your measurements indicate that a 30 could work for you too.) Any other sister cut is promising too.
Besides that, look for medium to projected rather than shallow styles.
