Issue resolved
Returning. Focusing on comfier bras.
Original problem
By the numbers, this bra should fit. And it feels ok. Similar to my other cleos. The wires don't feel particularly wide, but when I lift my arm there's a large vertical wrinkle on the side. You can see where the tissue ends and the wire sits, marked by my fingers. But with my arm down, it feels like the side of the cup is filled. Do I just need really super narrow and deep cups? My comexims feel great and the wire width is maybe 1/4" smaller on those.
Also, the bottom outer quarter of the cup feels like it's pushing my breasts toward the center and up. That's a good thing, but not a feeling I've noticed from my other bras.
And finally, the armpit chub. It's there in every bra I have. It doesn't really bother me but what's up with it? It's not boob, because it doesn't stay scooped no matter how large the cups are. Fat? Aux. tissue? Skin?
Could it be because I had a breast reduction years ago?Yes, the bra is in the IMF. Yes, I s&s. And no, the wings can't be taller because they'd poke with my arms down.

helpfulI will give useful feedback after my mom is done putzing around in my kitchen and I've been able to eat, but I just had to say how impressed I am that your bra works for the International Monetary Fund. I hope it never got harassed by that horrible French guy who was in charge for a while

Happy coincidence I think? Most of the time people write it out in full, so I don't see the abbreviation often enough to know if imf is universally used (as opposed to anything else) but it seems fairly intuitive. Apart from also being a global financial institution :-D
Regarding your actual questions, 1/ cup wrinkle: maybe I'm nuts but to me it just looks like it is due to the pull of the strap. Notice how it is directly in alignment with the strap's attachment and the wrinkle's orientation also aligns with the strap as it sits on your body when you raise your arm.
Regarding the armpit situation I would say if it is axillary tissue, it's clearly not bothering you enough to identify itself as such (some women have issues with that tissue swelling during various points of their cycle etc.) On my own body, I can feel the difference between mammary tissue and non-mammary tissue because my breast tissue is a lot more grainy feeling, even wayyy up in the tail of Spence. This is probably harder to feel if your body is younger and firmer, if you have nice firm pecs under there plumping up the whole area, and if you have never nursed children.

You're right. It does look like it has something to do with the straps. Hmm. I guess it's normal then.
I'm leaning toward thinking it's just fat/extra padding. I spent a good five minutes or so pinching and poking myself and I can't feel any difference between boob, belly, and whatever that is. I'm almost 26 with no kids yet FWIW. Forever ago, VS told me it was normal and that I just needed to go to the gym more, lols. But I'm a naturally soft squishy person so it's probably just that. :)

helpfulI don't have any conclusive observations, just some questions. If the cup feels filled when your arms are down, that's what matters, right? It's not uncomfortable, either in a neutral position with arms down or going about your normal activities?
If your Comexims are 1/4" narrower in the cups and they feel great, does that mean they're narrower when filled than the Cleos, including this one? Or do both brands stretch to accommodate your tissue fully? If not, does that mean Cleo is actually too wide for you?
Sorry I don't have anything more useful. I'll be interested to see what other comments you get.

Well, the straps are too wide and rubby but that's standard cleo for me. A comfort trade off for the cuteness.
Just tried on my comexim sapphire, and the wires do feel narrower. Maybe they're just more sturdy?
Tried on my cleo meg too, and it does the wrinkly thing when I lift my arm. I guess I just didn't notice before. I haven't worn the sapphire long enough for marks yet, but my Cleo's wire marks are technically wider than my IMF, maybe 1/2". But, as you said, it's not really uncomfortable, I just notice if I'm being picky with fit.

helpfulBack when I was a 30E, my Lily did a similar wrinkle as well. It might just have something to do with the design of the bra/strap placement and the material the cup is made of?

Haha did I use the wrong abbreviation? Or is that a happy coincidence?
