Comexim » Basic Plunge Bra (170) » 65H 30:8
Issue resolved
Keeping for now. Will see how it works out.
Original problem
First time in Comexim and totally lost. Fill out cup but when I bend over the cup gaps and as seen in the pics it looks to be to closed on top and cutting in. It feels to big but all current bras are to small so I think I'm getting use to feeling smashed and causing my boobs to quad.

helpfulI think you need a less closed shape up top - you either have tall roots or a ribcage that comes out above your breast? so that cutting-in is not necessarily a size thing but a shape thing. I agree that molded bras gap more than unlines ones.

I didnt think of them that way either, really, but i've never tried one on. I guess I think of them as very cleavage-y . . . i cant imagine wearing one without falling out the center

helpfulThe basic fits smaller and more closed off than most of the others. As ginganinja suggested, size down in your next selection and you should be good. You also might do well in the half cups as they are less projected.

helpfuli think that the cups are a little too big and wide set for you. i would try a different brand with closer set cups like one that have "petite" shapes.

Any suggestions??? I've had such bad luck with bras recently. Either to big or to small. So I'm open to suggestions.

helpfulI actually think it looks good. Gaps in molded bras are common when you aren't in good posture. If you fill it out when you're standing up, I wouldn't go down a size. It doesn't look to cut in anywhere, I don't see quadboob. If I see anything to nitpick, in pic #1 it looks like the wires might be a touch too narrow. Is it uncomfortable or sitting on tissue on the sides?

The wires feel great actually. My current bras are 5.0-5.2 width and fit my root perfectly. Depth I'm still trying to figure out. LOL

helpfulI think it's actually the right size! My suggestion would be to try it with reduced cups. I think the cups are a touch too tall, but the actual size is what you should be in with this model. Just don't forget, if you try another Comexim bra other than Basic, to order a cup size smaller, as Basic runs about a cup size small.

helpfulWe're really close in shape from what I can see, and measurements.
I ordered a 65G in this, but have been contemplating whether or not I should have had the cup shortened. I think that may have worked for you, looking at this.
As dbmamaz said, it looks like you have a tall root or prominent ribcage, which I have also. Padded half cups have worked best for that, just have to make sure the wires are narrow enough
I think if the cup was shortened it may be open enough for you. Otherwise maybe just a tiny bit too deep?Updated on June 9, 2015 Flag this

Ok since we are so close I'll wait and see how the 65G works for you. But I'm thinking reduced cup would probably work. Got this off here as more of a tester for what I need from Comexim without dropping a ton of money and waiting for the bras to arrive only to find out those weren't right...

@pumpkinswife Yeah, that's what I'm worried about!Waiting about a month and spending so much and then nothing working. You made the smart choice :)
I got the 65G because with tall cups, 8" depth normally works, and I wanted the ability to return it. So we'll see. I'll let you know when I get them :)

Tall but didn't realize Comexim was closed on top.
