Issue resolved
Stopped wearing said bra. Got another different one
Original problem
So finally confirming nearly 100% FOB thanks to this bra, it definitely looks and feels as it should fit. My breasts have never looked so big in an unlined before but my issue is the gore and the back strap "circles" digging right into my skin and hurting. Even causing red marks 1 hour after removal of bra. Is this because I am not used to gore actually fitting around my breast tissue or is this bra just incapable of matching with my shape width wise?

helpfulWell, I would start by trying an extender to see if the band is just pulling too tight. You dont look like you have much 'squish', so sometimes too-tight is more of a problem because you have less give. also, you can bend wires away from you if it just feel too pointed-inward.

helpfulI agree with dbmamaz , both your description of the pain/discomfort and the measurements above suggest that this band is too tight for you, at least at the moment. Cleo runs very tight, typically. You need an extender! However, it probably will stretch out within a few weeks--Cleo and other big UK brands don't use premium fabrics for the band, so they stretch out quite a lot over time.

actually wendy, i gotta say... while higher-quality brands FEEL a whole heck of a lot better, I don't know that they stretch all that much less. I've only worn out one high-quality bra -- it was a prima donna -- and it lasted a perfectly respectable amount of time (a year or two) before stretching out and dying. Whereas I have Cleos that never felt as nice as a Primadonna, empreinte or lejaby but started out anywhere from firm to tight and they just keep going. I have a 2-3 year old 36FF Cleo Marcie that still has an extender on it!
Eveden is a different story -- those do stretch faster, I think.

I confess I am going by the word of other users because it has been so hard for me to find a fit in Cleo. But back when I wore Freyas and Fantasies routinely, alongside a bunch of mainstream French brands, the UK ones stretched out to unusable dimensions in half the time.

I find that my unlined Cleos don't stretch out all that much, but I agree that an extender might help with the fit issues described.

helpfulHave you tried a plunge? Every bra I wore not matter how perfect the fit was everywhere else always dug into my chest. My breasts "splay" outward rather then hanging straight down on my body. I finely tried a plunge and the comfort is now a reality.
So I'm in love with Elomi's atm, and I confess to this.
How ever, I think you might do well to look at them. The smallest size they offer is a 34E, They run wide and fob. Amazon offers a number of different ones, as well as this being a brand nordstrom carries, both companies offer free returns. Might be a good place to try next for a shape match.

helpfulI'm no expert (yet!!) haha but I feel like I have the opposite problem that you have and I agree with cjarasmith on the plunge style idea. I am mostly FoB and my breasts splay outward, but they are fuller in the middle so I ALWAYS fall out the middle of any plunge bra - it's frustrating! So if you are more full in the sides that may be a very good solution
PS - I'd love to hear how it works out if you try a plunge!

Thank you! I tried the extender and bent the wires away from me a little and now it fits more comfortably.
