Gonna wear it as it is for now and if it really annoys me I'll challenge sewing the top of the decoration farther back
Original problem
The bit of fabric with the buttons is droopy and it looks odd. I think it may have something to do with the fabric above the gore being pushed out by my boobs. Could I get away with wearing it as it is?

I would try to catch the top of the decoration from the back and pull it back, inside towards the gore with a double white thread. I would start with large stitches done from the inside and see where it could be attached and have a smother appearance. If I found the right location, then with double thread in a matching color and tiny strong stitches, match the basting white stitch location. Hope it works! I ordered the same in the tankini!

helpfulWow, the "Veronica" has sure gone through a lot of very different iterations...
That said, the real question here is how the bikini feels to wear. Personally I think it looks cute; it's just not quite the way it might be supposed to look. But as long as the way it currently looks isn't indicative of _fit_ problems (such as the cups being too big or small), you can of course get away with it.
