Bra fitting help » Slight cup gape, mild horizontal band lines: 30 band or wait for stretch?

Issue resolved
It's not quite right but I kept it, mostly because I've had a hard time finding a bra that actually does fit properly! Not really sure what I'm missing so far as my shape, but that's life!
Original problem
Upon initially trying this on I thought the cups were much too big and went instead for the 28F. (http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dlxu3/) Even so, I wasn't sure about that, nor were fellow Bratabasers, so I decided to try this one on again to see, being sure to firmly anchor the underwires in my IMF. It does seem to fit much better, I have to say, though there is gaping at the top—it's mostly the lace, but the cups do gape a bit (see laptop-held-above-my-head photo). Is this just a Juna thing or too-large cups?
Based on the lessening of horizontal lines in the band, I suspect this is more along the right track than even the 28F, though I don't think a G is anywhere near what I need! Would a 30F or 30E perhaps be better? Everyone knows I am trepidatious about 30 bands. Would this one stretch out? It is (very) comfortable other than the gaping, though I've only worn it to try on. Or is a 30E probably my best bet? Thank you again, and sorry to be so pesty. At least I'm learning more by the bra!

helpfulWell, I think it might just be you are not FOT enough for the style. If you try it with an extender you could see if the gapping is because caused by the band being too small. But if the gapping isnt visible under shirts or bothering you, I wouldnt worry. I admit I'm not very good at 'seeing' when a band is too tight, tho.
actually it almost looks to me as if part of the band problem is because your rib cage slants in so much? Like the top of the band is too tight but the bottom isnt? I remember someone talking about that before somewhere, maybe on a blog.

helpfulI think it's a Juna thing. I know it doesn't always work out this way on people above an E or so, but the bra is really designed for that little lace band to stand away from the boob, rather than lying smoothly over it.
Regarding the band--I'm afraid I missed any discussion of your experiences with 30 bands, but if there's a chance that might be too big i.e. you are sort of between the two, just keep this and throw on an extender. It is an easy fix and certainly less fuss than trying to work with a 30 that is going to be too loose within a month.

helpfulI'm not aware of what's the story with 30 bands here, but from these photos alone I'd say the band looks too tight, thus cups could probably sit not exactly right. Hence it's hard to say whether gaps are caused by cup size or cup shape mismatch problem, or maybe both. I'd definitely try an extender before deciding what to do next.

helpfulThis is exactly the problem I always have! I think it might be an issue with being fuller on bottom. Perhaps isn't visible under t-shirts you can always just accept it as an eccentricity of an otherwise lovely bra. I wish I knew exactly what caused that issue, because it's super frustrating!
